A very poorly coached team. Poor hustle, cannot throw the ball to each other, cannot work the ball into for a high percentage shot, lazy passes costing turnovers, absolutely no motivation of players etc. Holly Warlick cannot coach pee wee basketball !!!

The football coach? He gets to season 3 with his recruits...his system...his staff to see improvement and SEC schedule results. If he is barely .500 by the end of season 3 then yes the discussion begins.

Zo is in season 3 and had a decent squad and got some good recruits....results have become almost predictable each game. Holly inherited a roster of top basketball players....and gets worked over by any decent team. Excuses are over and results are what is expected for those 2 and their staffs.

But Butch has time guy...chill....he had to work with Dooley's (the worse football head coach at Tennessee in the last 50 years) scraps...and the scraps he needed to put a decent competitive product on the field bolted for the NFL instead of playing their senior year. And people wonder why the offensive passing game was lame after the talent that went pro :no:

Graves, Burdick, Simmons, Massengale, Harrison: Core of the team and they all have significant experience. We are not a well-coached team--and we weren't a well coached team during PS's last several years. This has been going on for a while. We need to find one of the best, sharpest, most dynamic young coaches in the game, male or female.

Every time we play a good team we fall apart--bizarre. We played a great first half and were embarrassingly bad in the second. We have no leadership and no maturity--and, yea, it would be nice if we had more depth. McGraw adusted at the half--came out and played tough man d--and we panicked and fell apart.

I had seen all I wanted about 4 min into the second half. Turned and started watching Pawn Stars. Much more exciting. Also, I did not have to throw stuff at the tv.

I picked SEX Drive on Netflix...after watching a stupid game figured I'd follow it up with a stupid movie and some stupid posts on here :dunno:

i am thinking that CBJ needs 5 years and to be supported by the fan base at the same time,to see the improvements we all want

I don't know if Holly deserved the job but I know she deserved a chance.....what we need now is a visionary....someone at the school who is willing to look into the future, not at whats going on now but in the future and determine whats best for the program long term....maybe its Holly, I don't know

I know its important to attempt to sustain what Pat worked so hard to achieve and that might be doable but we need someonee 'bright and bold'...unfortunately thats been in short supply for some time now...

Actually that is my opinion too. If he keeps recruiting at the level he is right now...we could and probably should be in great shape sooner than that. Problem is the NegaVols want BCS titles next season....2 unproven HC's replace a Hall of Fame college HC and folks were ready to retool and rebuild....a guy with a history of rebuilding and winning shows up and many on here want to fire him by game 4 next season :dunno: WTF yo?

CBJ is recruiting great players and has super enthusiasm. Give him two to three years and we will have a very good team.

You won't see it in 14. It will be 15 before we see any noticeable results in football. That's just how far behind in talent we are.

If you have any doubt that Holly is or is not the woman for the job, go to UTsports and listen to her post game interview...NO WAY PAT OR ANY OTHER COACH AT A PROGRAM LIKE OURS HAVE BEEN WOULD SAY THAT STUFF...Even with the lack of talent, years of terrible recruiting Coach Butch Jones said losing would not be tolerate...Holly said she liked the teams efforts, passion for the game, and how they competated..Did she watch the same game as me???

What I saw was a great game plan in the first half, but the girls lost steam. I don't know if that is conditioning or what...

Holly shouldn't be giving out Heart pins to the players. She should be giving out diplomas after all the schooling and lessons they have learned this season.

Yeah and based upon winning the SEC last year we should have seen marked improvement given the returning talent. Instead a complete drop off.

The wheels haven't fallen off the wagon yet, but if they lose to Florida and Texas A&M falling to 3-4 in conference I'd love for you to come back and explain why she shouldn't be held accountable.

That was pathetic. Just listened to it. No wonder the team doesn't have any grit. Teams take on the character of the coach, our character is soft. How could you commend the effort of our team after the second half I watched. Lazy passes, watch lay ups off the steals, phantom defense on the best 3 point shooters, poor running floater shot after shot, it was embarrassing! I'd rather have seen a coach irate after that than someone about to cry talking about how our team is fragile emotionally! Unreal.:unsure:

On directv, it was listed as lady vol basketball show. That struck me as odd. I just did a search and I stand corrected, it is the holly Warlicks show. But I promise you I did not make that up. Last week it was listed like that for some reason and I made the comment to wife about it. Oh well, strike that part. But I stand by every other remark!

Just found it. It is also called the ut women's basketball coach's show. Look it up. I will take an apology at this time. It comes on jan 25. 12 to 1230!
