Tiny and all the OT's in the draft...

In so many ways, the draft is just unpredictable. I still think it must be a lingering knee problem. It makes no sense that we're nearing the end of the sixth round and Tiny is still on the board.

Grats to Zach Fulton on going to the Chiefs.

Some our fans overrated him, but virtually no outsider did. He's not a particularly explosive player. Not worth a high pick. Fulton and James were our best two linemen. They have been taken accordingly.

Was plenty of reports saying teams wouldn't touch him cause of his knee. His draft stock has been all over the board. From 2nd round to FA. Seems his health is a real concern.

every year we lose somebody early to the draft that we really still needed and that still needed us. the day i read richardson had declared i knew this was one of those situations. part of the problem lies in past kids getting drafted based purely on potential. anyone who watched ut this year saw richardson as more of a liability than future nfl player. but its that "potential" that made him think he'd get picked up anyway. he shouldve come back. reminds me of sentimore last draft.

I feel like this is a failure of the pre-draft process. I'm fairly confident that draft advisory board and other reputable sources told Tiny that he would be a relatively early selection - no later than third round. Now we're mid way through the sixth round and he's still on the board. While I could be mistaken, I would imagine Tiny would have stayed had he been told he would be such a late draft choice, which would have helped both Richardson himself and the team. It will be interesting to see if anything comes of this, but at the moment I'm just bummed out for Tiny. He deserves better.

He was projected 3rd or 4th round on most sites. I think his family played a bigger part than the draft board. Sounds like they might be desperate for money.

It didn't help Tiny to weigh in 20 lbs. heavy.

This is obviously an injury/health concerns issue at this point. The people in this thread saying he fell this far because of lack of talent are just flat out wrong.

I recall from an interview in April where Tiny said he was playing at 65% last season. I applaud him for playing through pain, but it did leave some bad film for NFL scouts to evaluate. He was a shell of the player he was in 2012, where he manhandled Clowney for most of the USC game.

Tiny say's he's healthy now, though, and I'm shocked he's still available. NFL.com had a mock draft predicting him to the Panthers in the 2nd round, but he's still available now approaching the 7th round...

With the exception of false starts, you could count Tiny's bad plays in 2012 on one hand. I doubt Tiny is a fan of read-option either.

Tinys issue is that he has done nothing to convince anyone he is the same player he was in 2012 after his knee surgery. His 2013 play, his combine, his pro day. None did anything to convince anyone otherwise.

Butthurt Vol fans are so cute when they think all their players are so good.

LOL, many of the draft sites have him graded to be a 2-3rd round pick, so claiming it's butthurt Vol fans is ridiculous. What has most shocked is that it appears he'll go completely undrafted. If you truly believe a healthy Tiny isn't worthy of being drafted, you obviously don't follow football. Personally, I feel bad for the young man. I'm sure playing in the NFL has been a long time dream. I feel sorry for fans such as yourself who seem to enjoy the fact a young man's dream may go unfulfilled. That's just straight up bitter.

There is no doubt he'll be signed an an Undrafted Free Agent with someone like Bray was within hours of the draft ending. If he is worthy of making an NFL team he will get his chance. At this point, it is probably better for him. He gets to pick who he wants to sign with as opposed to being drafted into potentially a bad situation.
