Tiny and all the OT's in the draft...

LOL, many of the draft sites have him graded to be a 2-3rd round pick, so claiming it's butthurt Vol fans is ridiculous. What has most shocked is that it appears he'll go completely undrafted. If you truly believe a healthy Tiny isn't worthy of being drafted, you obviously don't follow football. Personally, I feel bad for the young man. I'm sure playing in the NFL has been a long time dream. I feel sorry for fans such as yourself who seem to enjoy the fact a young man's dream may go unfulfilled. That's just straight up bitter.

Wish I could like this a million times. I hope my Falcons who really need all the O line help they can get will take him with one of these late 7's and give him the time to get his knee right. Say what you want but no way the GA State tackle is better than Tiny. I saw what he did against the overall number one pick and if he works and gets his knee right, he would be a steal. Should be motivated now if he wasn't before. I have never been more shocked with someone going undrafted before as this.

I feel like this is a failure of the pre-draft process. I'm fairly confident that draft advisory board and other reputable sources told Tiny that he would be a relatively early selection - no later than third round. Now we're mid way through the sixth round and he's still on the board. While I could be mistaken, I would imagine Tiny would have stayed had he been told he would be such a late draft choice, which would have helped both Richardson himself and the team. It will be interesting to see if anything comes of this, but at the moment I'm just bummed out for Tiny. He deserves better.

I tried to tell all the idiots that this was going to happen months ago. If Tiny had come back and shown he was better, he would have made millions next year....But even I didn't see him falling this far. He is better then this on potential and past tape alone. Sad for him, but greed and bullheadedness are not virtues.

I would not call it greed but more like need. If you and I did not see this happening, then I am sure neither did he or his family.

Now instead of having a starting spot handed to him this coming season to show his improvement...he will have to duke it out in NFL camp still not 100%, just to make a roster. Which is not going to be easy. He may have blown his whole future.

Seantrel Henderson just got drafted and he's admitted to failing multiple drug tests, including the one at the Combine. No doubt in my mind teams must have an injury issue with Tiny.

Pay attention....that was PAUL Richardson. It's the THIRD round and he STILL hasn't been picked!

Should have stayed in school and not listened to people.

Many of us on this very site, said he was overrated from his freshman season all the way through his junior season. His problem wasn't listening to people in general, his problem was listening to the people who said he was better than his play showed.

Unfortunately, you are right, and this plays out over and over again. I really wish the NCAA would give kids an option to come back to school if they go undrafted, even if they retained an agent for the draft.

Greed is probably not the word I should have used. But all mankind is a little greedy. We all want to do well financially. I just wish Tiny had stayed, for him and The Vols both. We weren't the only ones that said he could make far more next year by just putting some better tape out there. It was obvious he had first round ability from the year before...all he had to do was show he still had it in him. The difference between first round money and third/fourth round money is ridiculous. Now he may not be drafted at all....sad for everyone involved.

Maybe overrated by people on this site when they said a first rounder. BUT, perhaps not being drafted. EVERY mock draft I have seen had him drafted and before the 7th round. Some people really do have an agenda to make them feel better about themselves by patting their own back from a message board. I did not see all these wise ones coming out in this thread ever saying he was so bad he was not draft worthy. Then to seem to post things that sound almost joyful about what is happening where a VFL is having a crushing and horrible day in his football life is disgusting. Never saw this guy cuss at kids or act like an idiot when he was on the hill. Did have some false starts that drove me crazy but he played hard and represented the University very well. How about trying to show some support. Dang! I am out of here.

What you said was not really that bad. Some of the other stuff is what I would question. :hi:

People who claim they saw him in the 7th or possibly undrafted are either straight up FOS or never watch football.

Agreed............should be like basketball and have a deadline perhaps after the combine. Could mess up scholly numbers however.

If they want to do what is best for the kid, they can figure it out. Shollys can always be counted forward if necessary.

Hopefully this will humble him and help him be the player he's capable of being. He'll for sure be in someone's mini camp this summer so it's not like his career is over. Keep your head up Tiny.

Tiny did not have a good season in 2013 despite what his fans say. He is more of a media creation. He had a good 2012 - but when coming out early you better be in good physical condition and have no obvious holes in your game. Tiny got blown by a lot last season. If the ooficials had called holding on him like he deserved they would have benched him. Because he did not have any quickness he was constantly grabbing and holding. That tells the NFL that he has bad wheels and they are not going to invest a pick on a guy with bad wheels.

In the interest of fairness, some of you need to let Tiny follow you around for a day so he can point out every mistake you make and every inadequacy you have. Freak can offer him a blog on VN so he can share his experience with the rest of us.

his phone is probably ringing off the hook now, just like Bray's was when he went undrafted. Playing for league minimum on a practice squad is probably worst case scenario.

Attitude. Same situation as Tyler Bray.

I heard this on a sports show today and it was news to me. It was said that he wasn't very coach able/doesn't listen to the coaches. If that's true, then it certainly could be a big reason.
