Carter...has compiled 1,145 all-purpose yards, including 55 catches for 911 yards and 12 TDs. The 5-11, 200-pounder also has two rushing TDs and returned two punts for scores, plus 71 total tackles, four for loss and an interception to help the top-ranked Bears to their first 10-0 regular season in 47 years and first region title since 1980.

This guy is an immediate impact player IMO. I kind of wish we could use him as a 2 way guy, but he sounds so dynamic with the ball in his hands. If I had to pick just one side of the ball to play him on I’d have to pick offense. At the very least I would use him as a punt returner.

He's a kid that will make an impact from day 1.
Just his energy.
Special teams ace that will provide a spark on defense.

Every time another dozen or so additional people post (as if they are each the first to think of it) that they want Boo on offense, the stronger my feeling gets that the coaches (and Boo himself) are right to want him at DB. You just know these posters are the same people who complain constantly about our secondary. :rolleyes: It's tiresome, but educational.

So many INTs! So many game-changing INT returns! LFG, Boo!🍊

We need to get okay with putting high level athletes on defense. This offense is going to work regardless as long as we have Heupel, having dudes on defense too is how you win championships.
