Still doesn't answer my question, you know.
Garner can be all that 10 ways from Sunday, still...if these kids aren't feeling the love from EVERYONE, they're not wasting their time, no matter what the past accomplishments of coaches may be.

Just look at pretty much every exit interview from this weekend...DeMario Tolan, basically ALL he talked about, feeling the love. The RB from Georgia, wants to go somewhere he's "wanted", made him "feel like the most important recruit there".

If Garner wasn't showing love all throughout this recruitment, Nolen doesn't have us in his top 50, much less top 2.

Recruiting for kids of his tier has always been. It's why UT lost out on Cam Akers and Cam Newton. Nothing new UT has become cheap and passive. Admin has to be sold in on the sales pitch and willing to chip in. NILs are a joke at UT. Cookies and off-brand apparel on a level that kids get at HBCUs. We should be embarrassed as hell as fans that the BIG wigs don't truly care enough to make things like this happen especially when you have a HC who is not nor the majority of his staff known to be recruiting gurus. On top of this fans don't believe in patience so the infamous VOL twitter will be on his ass by year 3

I don't know how much money he'll make on NIL at A&M vs here, but for a guy like Nolen, NIL money should not be consideration #1, because it's small potatoes compared to what he can make if he becomes an elite NFL player. Yes, he should go after some NIL money, but if I were in his shoes, and one school had $300k on the table, while another had $200k on the table but also had the best coaches, I'd take the latter.

That said, I don't really claim to know anything about his recruitment. Or have any idea what sorta sums are being thrown around. I wouldn't assume that the million-dollar Bryce Petty money is getting thrown around for every recruit. By and large, I suspect that most of these kids are just getting some "spending money"; the ones that get rich on NIL are probably the exception.

I agree. CRG should be worth MILLIONS to a top notch D lineman as opposed to the thousands a NIL deal would bring in.
Besides, I would think the #1 recruit could get a lucrative NIL deal at Tennessee within the ballpark of what a&m could offer……….

Real answer - no clue.
Speculative answer treating rumor as truth:
Maybe CRG thought he could mold him but *if there's milking of a bidding war, while the kid is taking plays off..

Supposing CRG had any questions to begin with and his intent/belief that he could help Nolen also, was met with more counter offers or demands, my interest would drop quickly, also.

As VQ has been saying, this is not true at all. The NIL stuff for Tennessee is about to pick up in a big way. Unless VQ is wrong and Conley knows more than them. And he doesn't.

No one who matters cares about vol Twitter. They had nothing to do with Schiano. Those of us who actually called people that Sunday did however. Wait till January on NIL. Something about a little old law goes into effect then. I know you work with players and have some insight but UT won’t be cheap for long and we’ve at times have tossed around too much money.

One thing I do know is you do not know what’s going to happen with NIL deals at UT. What we do know is that will change once we can do it and not be in violation with state law.

For whatever reason and I really do not know why, it seems we’ve decided not to pursue Nolan as hard as others. I like the results on the field and I’ll wait to judge recruiting after 23. Also, this guys main recruiter is Garner so you knocking him now? Sorry you no longer are getting the Golden Arches. Last sentence is a joke. Try not to strike out and bash us some more. One post last week you were saying watch out cause we were making noise then this crap. You are just baiting. I am happy right now and so are a lot of people.
