How is it not professional when his job is to find great talent?

How in the heck was he talking "ish" about UT? I'm sure he talked about every top prospect from every state. Duh.

I don't think anybody disagrees with you on any of your statements at all...

But some have gone over the top and for this to be a topic of discussion 3 to 5 days after it comes out is ridiculous.

Tee Martin made an unprofessional comment in what he assumed to be a very secured communication environment. It wasn't.

Had he stated I wish we could have gotten that kid he is going to be a future NFL star for sure. Everybody would be doing the same thing and trashing Tee for not accepting the job.

You are right unprofessional statement by a UT grad that accidentally got caught on tape. Richard Nixon made the same fu-Pa.

As for me I love this stuff, it means UT Football is becoming relevant again! Most of the time when you are on top in any endeavor you will have lots of haters and envy. If we are successful this will just be the tip of the iceberg.

As well he may be after not taking one snap in pads since the first game of his senior season. He's been in rehab. We all hope he gets back 110% of what he showed his junior year, but as we all know .. you never know, until the season starts. Come on guys, name some injured players who never got 'it' all back even though they were supposed to be 100% physically. I can think of several off the top of my head.

OG (Other_Guy ..NOT the OP) is the first one to say it ... Tee's opinion made in his own "office" during signing day evaluations may be right. All this "T be dissing dis, an T be dissing dat" an "T be dissing us", ... is meaningless drivel.

He hung around Knoxville for years providing for his family, making commercials, wanting on staff and UT did not hire him. So he looks elsewhere, and all a sudden he's a monster. He moves up the coaching ladder and he's a bug-eyed monster. Sheesh.

It doesn't show nothing. And you don't know what the h3ll Manning would or would not say if he was a coach and recruiting for a school other than the UT. The only way you could is if you were Deanna Troi, Saturn Girl, Emma Frost, or a parasitic Trill worm. I'm a Peyton fan too, but too many of you assume too much. He's a great guy, I dare say an even greater guy than he is a great QB. But here's the thing, he's human, complete with all the faults and weaknesses as the rest of us. Those who insist he's practically infallible are ridiculous. I dare say, at some point he will do or say something that will pizz off some folks here sooner or later. Heroes have a tendency to stumble that way. Their worshippers have a tendency to exhibit arrogance when their hero stumbles. many recognize a certain truth about fanbases.
