You'll be pleased to know I also think Waco is a jackass, so there's that.

Every losing season that passes is chipping away at the long, outstanding success and tradition that those who have gone before have built. Another 5 years of obscurity will leave us in the deep abyss of forgotten traditional programs imo. Kids graduating in the next 3-4 years were simply babies the last time UT played for the 98 Championship. We need to right the ship, start improving and beating teams that have gotten the upper hand for the majority of the last 10 years. I believe Butch Jones should get at the very least 3 years to show that he can win here. If we are talking of him in the same breath as Dooley, due to the fact that he hasn't won a ''big'' game, I see no need to keep riding on the sinking ship. It should be a James Franklin type process of the first 2 seasons building this roster up for winning 8- to 10 games and a possible SEC appearance in Atlanta by '15. Butch Jones is gonna have to out work, out recruit and outcoach to get us back to the top. He has a winning coaching career.... but where does 4 championships in 6 years get you in the SEC? I will settle for an SEC championship win by 2016 or 2017.... nothing less. Plenty of time to get it done.. lots of work to put it.

I can tell you this much, this site is more active than the handful ive seen in the past.....
thousands of posts a day (majority not to educated nor entertaining).....

But the real truth why other fans flock to VN is plain and simple.....'Girls of......." posts...

Well, I'm a vol fan as I have a degree from there but I'll say this... Have you looked at the other forums? I'm primarily a Ky fan but I'm not a fan of their forum software/design. Volnation is a well designed vBulletin setup and it's just a pleasure to use.

For real, it is absolutely ridiculous how much crappier every single message board on the internet is compared to VN.

Seriously guys, how the hell are you supposed to read or navigate through those other boards??

What's crazy is that there are a few boards with the same layout as ours, BUT THEY STILL SUCK. Wtf?

One reason I like VN is they grant you free speech. On other sites, if you criticize their team they ban you. Most trolls are fairly obnoxious with little or no character. I find it helpful to not respond to them. They eventually go away.

I go on the Aggies' sight, but I do not troll. I just love their site, and they are my favorite SEC West team. I don't raid other schools' sites. Then again, I have a job so I actually don't have time to troll the sites of the schools I hate. Must be nice to be on the dole or work part time and live in mommy's attic.
