Is The Alien having trouble with the spectrum of light and the visual presentation of things which absorb or reflect the spectrum?
Is that being taken as some sort of racist language???

On the subject he was discussing, I was somewhat familiar with the study, because it came on the heels of the BLM demonstrations/movement.

I remember the person doing the study didn't believe the results could be accurate, so he ran them again with similar results. He then decided to publish the work even though many of his peers told him he shouldn't. I'd encourage you to take a look at the study and the person who lead it. The whole sequence was interesting.

I might do it as I said. The light emission aspect is interesting, doubtful as I am about McBaby's claim. I'm usually a sucker for not just out-of-the-box thinking, but all the way into the other building thinking. Just not when it is obviously BS excuses for bigotry, which I've seen plenty, in just about every form imaginable. And what I said about cop culture in that exchange is factual, light emission notwithstanding.

No. Now I do after reading the study. He should have phrased it better. But no matter, I did try to disengage thrice, to no avail. Sp, why not Elsa the matter since I said I won't share my thoughts on the study here?

No, he just didn't get your play on words.

I have a hard time with some puns and play on words.... Part of the way my brain is wired and I can tell when others are struggling. I think that was what was hanging them up from an otherwise straightforward statement.

Here's the thing, I often don't catch it. It just doesn't make sense to me and I move on... LOL.

But I can identify it when others miss it because it's easier for me to see others blindspots than my own.

Edit: but sometimes I ask depending on who it is.

What a freaking moron. Hope he gets the maximum charge possible. I'm sure it is a tragic mistake but if you lack good judgment while prone to act on your (bad) judgment, you are a danger to others and need to be punished as well as removed from society for the safety of others.

WOW... Really??? So this gets a cop fired and arrested? No... not for shooting or killing a civilian. Not for helping to smuggle dope or dope money. Not for unequal enforcement of the law. But this???

At least it shows the need for aggressive reviews, and strict hiring practices to rid PDs of sleazeballs, sadists, murderers, liars (filing false reports), and worse.
Especially those who, once given a badge and gun, develop a god-complex. Facts is, the USA doesn't want to, nor has the guts to do what's necessary to weed such scum from PDs.

To think, as a child I contemplated becoming a police officer. I liked everything about them, admittedly due to TV shows, and chatting with a few cops now and then. Today? You don't have enough money to pay me to be one, you just don't. Worse still, in more contemporary times, I went on rideouts, gained a grudging respect for the job they do. And a lot of the shyte they deal with out on the streets. But then, I started seeing too many of psycho cops, too many, way too many, and how they got away with basically violating people's right. If they weeded out the bottom feeders, we'd have better PDs.
