Top 3 worst plays in UT history

2. I don't think anyone has mentioned the 1990 blocked field goal against Alabama. After that everyone knew Johnny wasn't ever going to beat Alabama again.

2006,1992,and 2001. Remember all 3 like it`s happening now. Whoever star3ted this thread needs to be shot imo.

The David Palmer 2 point conversion was in 1993. It happened right in front of me.

No, Tennessee still has the loss on their record. Bama simply doesn't have the win.

At least before this vacating crap, we have a NCAA sanction win in the 17-17 tie. The one where Deuce Palmer tied it up with a two point conversion. Thank you Antonio Langham (sorry if I am misspelling his name). He signed with a agent after 1992 NCG. He was ruled ineligible in 1993 and the NCAA (I own a record book ) gave us a win and them a forfeit loss. Alabama can not handle the truth.

You are arguing with nobody. There isn't a single post where any Bama fan denies that UT officially has a win in the '93 game.

But congrats on having a record book that is every bit as useful as a google search and proves absolutely no one wrong.

letting David Palmer run around the end for a 2 point conversion to tie game, everyone one in america knew it was coming but our D

The year Johnny Majors coached UT they played UCLA in Knoxville and went single coverage on Mike Sherrad and he beat us for a touchdown that won the game in the last minute, had they won that game early after the rest of the season they had and spanking Miami in the sugar bowl , Majors would have had his National Championship.

UGA @ Knoxville. UT fumbles going into the end zone, db for UGA scoops the ball up and runs back 98 yards. Vols would have been down by 7 with momentum instead down 14 and never recovered. Sorry I cannot remember the year. David Palmer 2 point conversion still pisses me off. Erik Ainge getting hurt right before the half against ND.

It was 1985 and the game ended in a tie, not a loss.

By Decade and not necessarily limited to single plays.

80's

1) Siran Stacy going 70 plus yards for Bama opening the flood gates to a 47-30 loss, the Vols only loss that season.

2)Duke under Spurrier beating us with Anthony Dilweg in 1988. It was the catalyst for beginning the Spurrier era at Florida.

3)Herschel Walker trucking Bill Bates 1980. Herschel was a Heisman winner so it doesn't rank higher for me.

90's

1) 1990 Pat (Tye) Dye Game: Stan White goes off against TN in the fourth quarter for a 26-26 tie. Burke missed the FG to win it.

2) 1999: Jamal Lewis toss sweep on 4th and 3 Against Florida. Thanks Randy.

3) 1995: Wuerffel to Hilliard for Florida. Vols blow a 31-14 lead and lose 62-37, their only loss that season.

2000s

1)Hobnail Boot in 2001. In summary, F__K Larry Munson.

2) Ainge going down at the half against ND for a loss in 2004. Vol fans never should have known who Rick Clausen was. This was when Fulmer really lost it for good.

3) Chris Leake to Dallas Baker for a 21-20 win in 2006. They win the national title that year.

Honorable mention is the Lincoln kick.

2nd honorable mention is Cutler to Earl Bennett when everyone knew the play except Chavis in 2005.

2010-

1) 13 men on the field. We should have known right then that Dooley wasn't the answer.

2) Hunter getting injured against UF in 2011.

3) The 2012 season. Pick a play, any play.

Then you should be able to provide at least one link.

Keep in mind, you responded to a post that had nothing to do with the point you are trying to make.
