Trans men cant handle their monthly visitor

Actual reality is that gender reassignment surgery exists, and if someone wants to have it done, respect their wishes. No one is asking you to have it. It's a personal choice. That is truth.

That's fine as long as they don't ask society to pay through insurance or while in the military or in prison at taxpayer expense. It's elective.

I haven't seen anyone post anything that says people shouldn't be able to do what they want with their bodies. I don't think this thread has anythimg to do with that.

On the flip side of your argument, you should be pointing a finger at news sources saying just because people can do what they want with their body doesn't mean you have to push this down our throats 24/7.
Yet you chose to read the story. You could have skipped it. Curiosity got the better of you.

I don’t have any issue with what they want to do to their bodies..... I have issues with it being forced on everyone else.... my goodness the guy in Canada was able to claim he was female to get cheaper insurance.... Some of this stuff is ridiculous and needs to be stopped.

We should demand that "truth in advertising" apply to "news" headlines.
Too many people looking for something to be outraged about on both sides of the aisle. Life doesn't have to be as miserable as we sometimes make it if people would stop worrying about everyone else's business.

Should females be getting cheaper insurance? Does that outrage you as well?

How is someone have reassignment surgery taking a dump on your sidewalk? It's their body, their choice. Should we start outlawing tattoos and body piercings as well?

How is someone having an abortion and killing babies not affect society when it becomes the norm instead of the exception just because it’s their body ? Actions that are repeated often without pushback will eventually become societal norm . Societal norms do often affect everyone living in that society .

Nobody gives a s*** as long as they aren’t forced to accept that it’s normal. I shouldn’t be labeled because in refuse to participate in your self image. If someone wants to choose a random pronoun to identify themselves I’ll just refer to them as “it”.

I am not outraged by the Canadian gaming the system.... females get cheaper insurance bc guys do crazy stuff.... I was one of those such guys that did idiotic stuff so I don’t blame the insurance companies.... I am more outraged for females that train for sports as hard as they can but can be beaten bc some dude claims he is female.... what happened to the UCONN is disgraceful!

Not seeing a comparison with abortion. Who is getting hurt if someone decides to get their penis cut off? Like I said before, people create their own norms. Do you want "society" dictating to you what is normal?

How do you know it doesn’t affect me ? I just pointed out that what’s acceptable social norms should interest everyone since they are the standard on which everything is based on .
I know because it doesn't.

It's not as relevant as you or the ACLU wish it to be.

I feel the same way about helmet laws. You pretty much have to be a dumb box of rocks to ride a motorcycle without a helmet. A few states allow you to ride bare headed and I'm all for it. What I do have a problem with is when the box of rocks has a wreck and the rest of society has to pay for his/her stupidity with massive health care costs.

No one wants to be labeled. So why label them when you yourself don't want to be labeled?

Something for the sports governing agencies to address. I don't disagree.

You ever play organized sports ? , Ever golf ? How many times can you vote for a president in one day ? How often do you stand in Walmart completely naked shopping for a new pair of flip flops ? Those are just a few fun ones , I can pull those strings all day proving we don’t set our own norms living in a society .

At least in some instances it's a self correcting error in judgment; but when it's not, it shouldn't be a cost borne by the rest of us. I guess that part falls in line with Weezer's part about the difference in what men and women pay for insurance ... except all men aren't created mentally equal when it comes to common sense. Of course, sometimes women walk out of a bar with a couple of men and decide too late it might be a bad idea.

You still haven't answered how someone changing their gender affects you? WTH? Did you date someone who had had the surgery without telling you? If so, then I agree, that's wrong. Otherwise, I don't see it. I do think anyone who has had the surgery should be upfront with potential partners.

You don’t know me , you have no idea what does and doesn’t affect me directly . Last time I checked I didn’t see “ Zoltar the omnipotent “ out by your profile name .

It all ties in together..... transsexuals should be able to do anything that they want to do but the line should be drawn at making everyone else accept it beside normal courtesy.

Assuming they are actual transsexuals and not simply cross-dressers who aren't actually all that dedicated to the cause and may simply like the liberal exception allowing them to be voyeurs..

And that’s fine but that doesn’t change their biology. They are still whatever gender they were born as. And those who don’t do the surgery are still a man dressed up as a woman or vice versa. Delusional mentally ill people who can do what they want. But I don’t have to call them anything other than the truth

You are smarter than this , I’ve watched you argue with luther and you are being a lot like him now in your arguments . I have specifically been talking about societal norms and why people would be interested in this topic . You’ve intentional avoided every counter that I’ve given, to try and get me to answer how it’s effecting me personally what a small group of others do and try to make it seem normal in society . Are you trying to make a point that we as a society should only care about society and it’s norms if it directly effects us and not worry about things that don’t ?
