This whole diatribe on players leaving is complete BS and a waste of time. The only way Jessie is leaving is if she chooses to. Kellie is not asking her to leave. She has been a tremendous teammate for three years and that’s not going to change. You need those on a roster.

Please stop with this because you’re only wasting your time and showing what type of fans you are.

Exactly but its easy to help a player gain control of their game when you are honest and upfront with them from the beginning and you keep your word than when you tell them something in the beginning and then switch it up and not follow through with what you originally said.

Brenda has a habit of that.

I doubt Rennie hit the portal, imo she will finish her degree at UT and return home (if there are no options to still play or get a job here). If she does go elsewhere it would be for a Covid season after the upcoming one is complete.

Just the returning players. I noticed they already took out Myah, but Anastasia was listed as a grad student. She confirmed on SM that she was coming back to MSST next season.

Jessie has kept her commitments to UT and the Lady Vols and deserves nothing less in return. A promise is a promise. She never shows a poor attitude like some of the prima-donnas from a few year ago, with inflated views of their own importance.

Wonder if Fernandez is going to retire maybe? Haven’t heard anything though. Harvey can shoot it. I think she would be a great pickup for Vandy. Would suit the system they run will and has a nice stroke from 3.

Totally different. Disciplinary related. You cannot just pull a scholarship willy nilly. Must have been documented issues throughout the season for them to have been able to release her from the team.

I was going to say Vandy or even a Belmont (that 3 guard lineup with Tutu Jones and Destinee Wells could be exciting)

ohhh yes, that would be great as well. Belmont looks like a fun team to play for also. They play hard and really good chance of playing in the NCAA tourney there.

Great way to increase your profile by playing on a NCAA tournament team. Sjerven from SD getting looks at the WNBA after a great tournament showing. Much more visible at a mid major than all those others at P5 schools who were sitting at home.

Aren't athletic scholarships only for one year? The school then has the option to renew it each year, so the coach or school can opt not to renew in any situation thus releasing the student athlete.
