I think seven spots is pretty much secureWahab would be an excellent addition for us. Definitely need some rebounding. Parker Stewart would nice as he seems to be a high volume shooter, and has good size as well.
BHH, Q, and Tamba to round out the class. That's 7 spots though, so some other people would have to leave, which I can see.
Probably should stay clear of Wuhan for a little while longer.I think seven spots is pretty much secure
3 Seniors
2 One and Dones
2 Transfers already
That's seven right there with the chance Corey Walker leaves too. So I agree with you, those 5 high schoolers, Wuhan, and Stewart would be the dream. Could be excited with Powell and Gardner instead as well
Ideally the ncaa would conduct routine audits of schools’ communication records with transfers to ensure that no contact was made prior to the player entering the portal. I imagine they’d have to hire a lot more staff to do this though and it may be untenable to do this with hundreds of schools and the frequency of transfers these days.I’m sorry but reports like that are exactly why this open feee agent market is so bad for the ncaa
tampering is the new norm
Yes, good point about him still being a freshman and facing some good defenses! I would've loved to see him be able to play more alongside Cooper and see how that worked out, but alas. Can't only look at points though.
Had 6 rebounds and 9 assist against Arkansas as well (but also 7 turnovers)
Had 4 rebounds and 2 assist against A&M
Plus a pair of steals in both games, gotta remember he was still a freshmen playing in just his 9th and 10th games in college ball. He wasn't a 5 star one & done prospect so I'm not too shocked he struggled against the SEC competition. Arkansas finished 2nd in conference and did just make the Elite Eight and A&M despite not having a great record was the 4th best scoring defense in the SEC this year.
