Think we may play him as a wing? I’m still optimistic about what another year will do for Vescovi and him able to focus more on playing 2. Also Bailey showed some great flashes. For a while was our leading and most efficient scorer but obviously went through some slumps. If he can gain some more consistency I like his potential in his senior year as well. Still unsure what our front court looks like but right now I could envision going small and JJJ playing some 4 and Fulk or whoever at 5.

That’s a pretty good starting line-up. I’m prob in the minority, but I really hope we get someone to start over JJJ. Need another elite scorer in my opinion. JJJ is the perfect 6th man, does what you need him to do at the time.

Even if SEC doesn’t accept the transfer rule for inter conference moves you take Powell. He can help you either year.

JJJ isn’t coming off the bench. He is by far your most well-rounded player. Our fans under-appreciate him. He is also the team leader as no one else is vocal enough.

If Powell is healthy, and is as good as advertised, Santi is coming off the bench, which is probably good for Santi.

People keep saying JJJ won't come off the bench, but I actually thought he played better this season when he DID come off the bench and wasn't starting.

Tennessee has been and is trying with Kessler. As of this morning I don’t get the impression they feel great about their chances but they are swinging.

I think some people seem to be overestimating the Powell connection. As UNC people could no doubt tell you this is about the family and what they are looking for.

He is unselfish and did it this season already though? Santi was 3rd on the team in starts behind Fulky & Pons and was first in minutes. He started 6 more games than JJJ.

I’m just basing it on what Barnes has shown, and I think JJJ is a better “spark” off the bench than Santi would be. Plus as Barnes always says it’s about minutes not starts.

Great get with Powell committing to add a legit deep threat. We need as much deep shooting as we can get, that’s where the college game is now, running the floor, screen roll kick out 3s... so we gotta get as many shooters as possible.

With that said we need to add a skilled big who can roll, or pick/pop. And rebound. I don’t know if we have a chance with Kessler or not. But I really like Brady Manek, he would be a big get for floor spacing and 3pt offense

Tennessee just needs JJJ to stay healthy for a complete season. Seems every time he gets on a roll some freak injury happens and sets him back. In my opinion Tennessee was at its best when JJJ was filling up the stat sheet.
