Trump promises and proposals tracking thread.

as opposed to the God only knows how much we spend dealing with their criminal activates and fallout thereof.
I'm okay with it, but I'm not the one constantly crying about guvment spending.

We can spend 50k per year per detainee instead of sending them back to their country. I'm just surprised you guys are so quick to jump on board.

JK....I'm not surprised at all.....you guys will support whatever trump does, even if it goes against everything you have claimed to believe in the past.

“No one — on either side of the border — wants to see American tariffs on Canadian goods,” Trudeau said. “I met with our Canada-U.S. Council today. We’re working hard to prevent these tariffs, but if the United States moves ahead, Canada’s ready with a forceful and immediate response.”

US GDP is 10x Canada’s GDP. 77% of Canadian exports go to the US.

What “forceful and immediate response” could Canada have that won’t be more painful to them than to the US?

There is not one. Tariffs in this case with Canada and Mexico are geared to change their policy related to our borders and drugs. They are intended to be short-term in nature and part of the negotiations.

Absolutely not. As soon as Trump names his new economic policy, we will all do what the leftist did and just pretend like everything is fine.

“We call that Trumpenomics!”

Meh. Need a better name I guess.

Honestly. I can't wait to see how the red hat crowd spins higher consumer prices as a result of Trumps tariffs as either a good thing or somehow a result of Biden's administration.

Before you get the hannity talking points, are you willing to go on record?

Absolutely. A little short term pain is good. Heil Trump!

Also. I’m glad you replied. I wanted to share this and say congratulations. Be careful brother.

This thread is to monitor the things Trump said he will do while campaigning and during his term. We will update it to show new proposals, progress, and results (or lack thereof). Orange font means a verified promise.
To be accurate, this needs to be a community effort. If someone wanted to make this into a spreadsheet, I'm sure it would be a much better format.

For this, a proposal or promise would be anything offered in a definitive manner ( "I/ we will"..."going to"..."from day 1"...etc. NOT, "we should", "I think", "suggest"... "look into", etc) from Trump. (maybe need to include his cabinet, too?)

As the thread grows, I may miss an addition buried in discussion. Please @ me to make sure I see an update. Thanks.

Please post promises or proposals you are aware of and the tracking of progress in the future.

From post #70:
45. Revoke Joe Biden’s policies on “gender affirming care”—a process that includes giving kids puberty blockers, mutating their physical appearance, and ultimately performing surgery on minor children.
46. Sign a new executive order instructing every federal agency to cease all programs that promote the concept of sex and gender transition at any age.
47. Ask Congress to permanently stop federal taxpayer dollars from being used to promote or pay for these procedures.
48. Pass a law prohibiting child sexual mutilation in all 50 states.
49. Declare that any hospital or healthcare provider participating in the chemical or physical mutilation of minor youth will no longer meet federal health and safety standards for Medicaid and Medicare—and will be terminated from the program.
50. Support the creation of a private right of action for victims to sue doctors who have unforgivably performed these procedures on minor children.
51.Direct the Department of Justice to investigate Big Pharma and the big hospital networks to determine whether they have:

Deliberately covered up horrific long-term side-effects of “sex transitions” to get rich at the expense of vulnerable patients.

Illegally marketed hormones and puberty blockers, which are in no way licensed or approved for this use.
52. Direct the Department of Education to inform states and school districts that if any teacher or school official suggests to a child that they could be trapped in the wrong body, they will be faced with severe consequences, including, potential Civil Rights violations for sex discrimination, and the elimination of federal funding.
53. As part of our new credentialing body for teachers, we will promote positive education about the nuclear family, the roles of mothers and fathers, and celebrating rather than erasing the things that make men and women different and unique.

Ask Congress to pass a bill establishing that:
54. The only genders recognized by the U.S. government are male and female—and they are assigned at birth.
55. Title IX prohibits men from participating in women’s sports.
56. Protects the rights of parents from being forced to allow their minor child to assume a new gender identity without the parents’ consent.

And it's like you didn't even read my post.
Government spending isn't the problem. We do need it. Unnecessary government spending is the problem. Identifying it is a step in the right direction for sure. It should be exhaustive for the entire federal government. Right now it's more selective which is ok, but broadening it is imperative. That is if you really care about rooting it out

Idk. Did DOGE get authorized by Congress or as EO?
And if EO does that negate the promise because the delivery was different than promised???
Semantical to the subject imo..he is auditing which is the point..imo.

it is monumental really

You sound just like Rachel Maddow! McLiberal!!!

Jk. I really don’t know. TBH I didn’t expect any of this. I expected DOGE to work quietly behind the scenes. And then Trump would come out once a month a spike a political football because they found a few million dollars going to waste. I guess I had more faith in the Fed than I thought I did. Which is crazy to think about.
