So he got elected and full filled an election promise by selecting conservatives justices. Isn’t that what he said he would do.

Biden ran on shutting down the virus, ole boy caught it two weeks ago.

So it appears that the bottom line for the left is not Trump’s policies or decisions but simply his personality. I doubt anyone who hates Trump is better off today than they were in October 2020. Yet despite the financial setbacks they and their families are suffering, the proven weaponization of the FBI to collude with Hillary to sway an election, repeatedly and continually being lied to by their representatives, the intel agencies and bureaucrats they still hate the man basically because of his tweets. His policies regarding immigration, the economy, national security and crime left them much, much better off than Biden but they still want to burn Trump at the stake. People that let emotions and feelings rule their lives will always be unhappy. At what point do they finally apply rational thought to their lives?

His personality was fine when he gave close to 2M in donations to the left from 1989 to 2015. His ego was just fine and it didn’t matter what his tax record was.

Donald Trump also said that he would eliminate the debt in 8 years, repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, and build a new stretch of border wall that Mexico would pay for.

How did those campaign promises pan out?

Elected conservatives to the court.
Same wall was being built that the previous administrations ran on and built around 450 miles.
4 years is less than 8 years as he’ll need the additional 4 based off the promise. Simple math.

Better than if you earn less than $400k your taxes won’t increase and I’ll eliminate Covid, I suppose the rampant inflation is just a bonus.

On the list of reasons why I think Trump was poor President and a worse human, this falls... very down the list. I assume he wasn't hoarding nuclear codes so I can't manage to care about this too much. Of course it's always funny to see his words come back to bite him, so there's that, I guess.

Based on how his administration added to the debt, before the pandemic even began, I think it's safe to say that reducing the debt by a single dollar was never actually a goal of his. Simple math indeed.

... and it's hard to forget about that "Mexico's gonna pay for it" pledge.

Sure. A manufactured pandemic was what it took to ramp up the debt. Even the current administration added more to that number.

Even BEFORE the pandemic, Trump's spending was out of control. It's obvious that reducing the debt was never a goal of his... but he had pledged to eliminate the debt.
