And I think the fear is multi-faceted. On the one hand it’s his feeble-mindedness, and on the other hand they have to know his chances of beating the virus (should he, God forbid, become infected) ain’t so good.I have to believe the DNC and Biden camp have a visceral fear of letting Biden out of the basement. Thus we see the deflection campaign at attacking Trumps first return rally at trying to show they don’t matter. It won’t work.
I don't understand why Dems are gloating so much over the poor turnout at Trump's rally. We are coming off of a global pandemic so it's understandable that the turnout wouldn't be nearly as great.
Yeah. To be clear I don’t wish that on him. That is ridiculous. But Trump is in that group too and he’s facing that risk head on for what’s at stake. So frankly advantage Trump in that regard. And I think the fear is multi-faceted. The gloating is in response to Trump, and his team, thinking they were going to pack the house and have a huge audience outside the stadium.I don't understand why Dems are gloating so much over the poor turnout at Trump's rally. Wait what? These so called experts say it takes 5 days to show up positive. Two more Trump staffers test positive for coronavirus after Tulsa rally
"After another round of testing for campaign staff in Tulsa, two additional members of the advance team tested positive for the coronavirus. These staff members attended the rally but were wearing masks during the entire event. Upon the positive tests, the campaign immediately activated established quarantine and contact tracing protocols," Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh told CNN in a statement.

Trump campaign *causing* a super-spreader event was not something I had considered. LOL
Of course. No sane person regardless of their politics would wish that on either one. But like you I give Trump points for not hiding in his basement.Yeah. To be clear I don’t wish that on him. It was a tactical error. They went overboard and the sheer amount of tickets should have been a clue. But they should have used it in an optimistic fashion “based on advance ticket requests we’re expecting a very good turnout...” but he can’t just dip a toe in. That isn’t his styleThe gloating is in response to Trump, and his team, thinking they were going to pack the house and have a huge audience outside the stadium.
Hard to believe Trump's supporters wouldn't go to the rally considering their previous talking points. Not as bad as the flu, should have never had a lock down, masks and social distancing are stupid, we need to get out and get herd immunity. Maybe Republicans are just tired of Trump's circus. I would like to think there are still traditional Republicans that have sense enough to not listen to Trump.I don't understand why Dems are gloating so much over the poor turnout at Trump's rally.
