TrumPutinGate

Well, after Donny's little stunt this past week, which essentially accomplished nothing of any actual import, his approval ratings are up nearly seven percentage points.

Approval ratings are up. Oil is up. No one has discussed TrumPutin Gate in the past week in our national media, and Donny looks tough on Russia.

Mission accomplished.

Expect more posturing with North Korea. The danger time is approaching.

Just checking in to see if any hard evidence of collusion has emerged, no, Ok check back later.:eek:lol:

"Trust me, it will soon be Podesta's time in the barrel."

"There's still a couple days left in October."

"Russia, if you're listening...."

"Wednesday, @HillaryClinton is done."

I'm just going to go ahead and throw this out there, simply because it's now out there. I don't accept it as fact yet, but it is something to potentially watch for in the coming weeks/months.

But here goes:

It's becoming increasingly evident the Syrian strike was a mere political stunt. But why? Could be for a number of things. This particular theory, however, posits that it is potentially a coordinated effort between the Kremlin and Team Donny to eventually force Assad out. If the Kremlin finally does this, this may be a nice backdoor way for the US (and the EU) to end (or at least severely weaken) its sanctions on Russia. It would not be overt and would make Donny look like a fair bargainer.

Anyhow, the Kremlin has not adopted any such posture yet, so this theory remains merely at the theory-level, with no basis in fact yet.

But it is something to potentially watch for, just as rising tensions with North Korea are likely in the cards as well.

You'll see a Russian link to everything.

I think a president that wins with 60% of the popular vote would have much greater leverage than a president that looses by 3 million votes. There is no getting around the fact that the majority of the people who bothered to vote voted against Trump. It matters, at least to those that didn't vote for him.
One "o" in loses.

You can always count on '72 to degrade another poster for spelling or grammar errors.

Just the way a totally not arrogant, completely upstanding poster like himself roles.

Or is that "rolls"?

Help me out, '72.

Just trying to educate the other side. Poor Luther also thinks that the person with the most votes is the winner.......and it's roals, in your case.

There you go, dredging up this "most irresponsible" thread again, just to keep Trump-Russia fake news at the top of this forum's page.

Everyone knows that Trump-Russia is over. Done. We're at war with Russia and Syria now.

You TrumPutingaters have no respect for patriotic Americans like Donny J. Trump.

Do you also think Putin funded the riots in Ferguson?

loos. Like loo, look, loom, loon, loop, loot

The only thing more illogical than a Trump voter is the English language.

Stick around until football season and check out the massed amounts of threads started in the FF whenever someone makes a bad play.

Why would Russia dump Assad now?

Good point. I'll retract my statement. The FF and RF is where I spent all of my time on VN before I stumbled across the PF.

I've seen no evidence nor have I heard from anyone who would likely know definitively that that is the case, so I think it was still organic or at least domestically-funded (if funded by outsiders at all).

That claim of hers, as potentially unfounded as it may be, is, however, in keeping with Soviet active measures. One reason why Hoover's FBI was always so uptight about the Civil Rights Movement (not necessarily because of racism, although that surely played some role).

Why would Russia dump Assad now?

He may have no such plan; again, it's just a theory I've encountered, one which I don't necessarily subscribe to at the moment but find plausible if other related events begin to emerge.

While it may not necessarily benefit him in Syria, it would be an excellent way to potentially "backdoor" into sanctions relief. Determining the possible motivations would require asking which is more important to Putin and his close friends: Assad in power or billions more in kleptocratic grift?
