Mick, I haven't been following closely. I got bored with it after a year. With work, Grudenmania, and Currygate I haven't had much time to follow this news.

But it sounds like this is really serious. I think Flynn and Trump once shared a few glasses of Stoli together along with some knish.

I hope Pence is being groomed for the job as we speak.

That didn't bother me that much since I had low expectations about the hire to begin with. Then I lowered them some more and now I have hope for real change in the football program.

Trump knew Flynn lied to the FBI.

Trump tried to get Comey to stop the investigation into Flynn then fired him when he wouldn't.

Trump is guilty of obstruction and cannot pardon himself for that. He's going to have to plead guilty.

Just when I thought Trump couldn't act more stupidly, lo and behold. Here's the actual tweet BB refers to. Admission that at time he dismissed Flynn he knew Flynn had lied to the FBI, yet he begged comey to lay off.

Obstruction 101. Buh bye.

"I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI," Trump wrote. "He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!"

His twitter is just to rile the base and an extension of the campaign. I see re-posts on here and say what a dumba$$ while others say amen.

Flynn had enough reasons to lie to the FBI on his own accord but knowing this line of questioning was coming down the pipe its probable that team trump and team flynn coordinated Flynn's answers.

I think it's become evident that trump is so ignorant, he doesn't even understand that he just made an unfettered admission that he's committed obstruction of Justice.
