TV, movies, music, Books and whatnot.

I can't stand Megan Fox and with her in it I imagine Expendables 4 probably gonna suck big hairy donkey ears, probably would even without her, but Imma gone watch it anyway.

I watched We bought a zoo last night for the umpteenth time after The Adjustment Bureau. That little girl in it is awesome. Elle Fanning does a good job too. It's a good flick.

I'm trying staying up later and sleeping later. Not doing any good so far 😔.

I don’t remember much about We Bought a Zoo, but I know I liked it.

1.) Ted Lasso is a better show than it had any right to be. I thought it would be stupid, but am genuinely hooked. Those silly mini trailers they did before it came out didn't do it justice, and made it look cheesy. Show is fantastic.

2.) Son just started Ender's Game that absolute Sci-Fi Masterpiece for either young adults or full adults. I loved it when it came out in the 80's. The movie can't hold up to book, because it's 90% inner monologue. There's a reason it's on the reading list for West Point, and US Marine reading list too. If you never had the luxary of reading this book as a kid it's fantastic and never too late. Found an awesome audio version on Audible as well the 20th 30th anniversary whatever. Very well voiced for those of you who like to listen to books in the car, or to go to help defragment for sleep time. I do this a lot as it gets my mind off of all the worry chit so I can sleep.

It's a great book for anyone, but for HIGH IQ kids who may be a little shy or deal with bullying regularly it's priceless. Ender shows the daily struggles such boys face, and absolutely conquors them. Recommended to both my nephews when they were tweens, and it became their favorite books. One has graduated is super intelligent with accolades out the Wazoo and is working on missile systems, and the other may indeed be heading to West Point. Both are accomplished Eagle Scouts.

Perfect book for educating a boy 8-16 on how to be neither a sheep, nor a bully, and learn to use their high intelligence to their advantage.

Perfect book for an Adult to understand rational problem solving, military tactics, human psychology, and how to WIN.

A more realistic option for resurrecting the character might be a Rambo prequel, with a new actor depicting a young pre-First Blood version of the character. Stallone himself has indeed addressed this possibility, pitching an idea that would explore the character's early life and traumatizing Vietnam experiences.

Bosch has Jeri Ryan’s character hooked up with a fat, corrupt former cop. If she’s playing him, OK, but I’m not liking this…
