'22 TX WR Evan Stewart (Oregon)

He struggled early on. That’s it. So what? He was looking much better when he switched to the outside towards the end of the season. I don’t know why some have just given up on Thorton. He has the ability to be WR #1 in this offense.
Idk it's just their shtick

They ignore his improvement and are excited to give up on a dude as talented as he is.

You don't give up on him after he was turning the his season around and when he is as much of a freak athletically.

why are we not listed??
have no idea. maybe these are the three top schools as of now or maybe they were just throwing out random schools that are interested. either way its most likely coming down to who pays more.

I honestly thought that Milton just wasn’t reading the middle well all year. The drags seemed open almost every game and he almost never hit them. The fades were his favorite ball to throw not being a screen. I wish he used his legs more to open that game up. Honestly, when I knew we were screwed was in the Florida game when we didn’t really capitalize on a double move from a screen and then we did and Milton didn’t read it out. I know castles wasn’t the fastest guy but he could bully a backer or safety on a flag or a five yard in or heck just a five yard curl.

I had questions but you pretty much answered them.
How much was it on Milton processing and the WR group not clicking?
Florida game was on the Offensive line. If they actually block on Joes pick. thats a TD. Squirrel was just breaking free when Joe released that ball. The Center and Guard wiffed on 1 florida defensive lineman

he didnt "Quit" He was absolutely limited in a dog crap offense. And his coach got fired and im pretty sure his NIL deal fell through aswell. There was a post from the A&M players saying they never got paid as promised.
Don't see info about an injury so he didn't play because the offense stunk and his checks didn't come in? So how is this not quitting again?

Cooper was still out and our backup Center was getting ate up that game. No coincidence, that when Mays return the OLine was solid again.

Doesn't fit what our staff is looking for? Price too high and he won't have multiple years? Although I have to wonder about the importance of the multiple years now that the NCAA has essentially given in to free agency with multiple transfers.

Ask Evan Stewart.
Doubt you'd get a concrete answer. This entire NIL game is a joke. The "lists" are probably just bids hes considering at the moment. Doesn't matter where he plays or who he plays for. Just the chase of the almighty dollar. With the transfers and NIL creating this opt out trend, I think we're witnessing the beginning of the death of college football as we know it. Maybe Kiffin and Prime are seeing the way the game is going and are operating accordingly? Regardless, I don't think anyone over the age of 20 will look at this bowl situation and see it as change for the better. Greed from all sides has ruined what used to be one of the best times of the year for college football fans. Suspect it's only going to get worse.

There’s no excitement to give up on him but as with all of the other players he’s going to have to keep that improvement and produce if he wants to stay on the field. He’s a senior who at this point you keep as your 4th option because he does have the potential with his athletic ability but his hour glass is getting low.

Like I have said before if he has less than 8 catches and less than 150 yds after our 4th game those reps need to go elsewhere like a Mike Matthews or Braylon Staley.

I don’t understand the debate. Acknowledging that someone isn’t likely to emerge as a serious threat because they’ve failed to do so at two different schools is not “giving up” on someone. He’s a long and athletic WR who doesn’t catch the ball consistently. If he strings together 15-20 catches without a drop I’ll look at him differently.

I certainly am not giving up on him. I even noted the improvement. I was simply noting his struggles to start to the season cannot simply be chalked up to injury.

not for sure if it’s true, but i seen on twitter the kid has a week left to make a decision. so i assume sometime next week?

And this is at the heart of the rot infecting college sports today. When we can't afford tickets or every game becomes PPV, remember that you gotta "pay the man". It's coming. Just watch.
Not sure I understand this logic. Do players not deserve to be paid for their value? That's the same sort of logic someone would use to justify sweatshop labor in order to get cheap sneakers.

Either the athletes deserve to be paid for their work or they don't. Ticket prices and pay per view should have no bearing on that. The market will adjust and take care of prices.

In my opinion, I have no right to cheap tickets if it comes at the expense of a worker's right to profit off of their efforts/image/;lieness/etc...

That answers the question “why are we not listed?”.
