'19 TX WR Isaiah Neyor

It's not that we didn't get this particular guy. It's the fact that we are striking out on absolutely everyone (so far). We have tons of holes that need to be filled on defense and it appears they aren't even trying to get defensive guys out of the portal.

Have a snickers Betty. It will be fine. We will get some guys. The portal doesn’t close anytime soon.

Fellows none of us know all the facts regarding Heupels board, the infractions, NIL, the potential scholarship reductions pending, etc.
We never had Neyor, last year our WR's exceeded expectations, year 2 we have most key players back at WR and added some promising incoming talent, several 4 star plums

We never had Neyor, perhaps playing against lesser talented players at Wyoming, he looked great,
I am sure that we will move on to some really good WR's still not posted in the portal,
I believe in our coaches

According to Hubbs on the radio, he heavily implied that we got NIL’d.

Judging by Jonathan Wade tweets it would be safe to say this is what happened. He had a connection with Neyor and not happy. Said it’s no longer about college football anymore and then a meme with someone throwing dollar bills

At least it was a position we could easily afford it! Based on current needs, this could be a blessing…

And yet...every asshat on VolNation is blaming the coaching staff for not "closing"...that is what is pissing me off. People are too stupid to see what is going on.

Come on, McGill. It's either coaches can't recruit, our billionaires are tightwads, Donde is an idiot, Danny White is bad at his job, the NCAA is out to get us, or my personal favorite, it's Obama's fault. Yeah, let's go with that...Thanks Obama!

I do think our money guys are not as invested in providing players as other schools moneybag boosters are.

His original goal was to go home. I think when he committed here, it maybe didn't seem realistic that Texas was a legit destination.

Now that it is... Well, original goal back in play.

Reminds me of that wr we found in South Georgia a few years ago that committed to us and wind up at FSU once they decided to get involved.

Nil in play too.

I don’t want to re-litigate this, but Texas was on him as early as we were. So was Baylor, but he never showed any interest in them. It just doesn’t seem like he was ever that dead-set on staying home. Proximity might have helped in the end, but I think we just got outbid.

Sucks, but we have more pressing needs.
