Actually this is what I was implying... Gray or dark gray mock up without stripes. Solid is better, imo

Look how long it took Adidas just to match the same shade of orange on the current uniforms -- 1914 colors arent going to be exactly that - most all the throwback games played recently - both teams wore the throwbacks - so what team is it going to be against, since it has to be an Adidas school ?

So would our normal white helmet even look good with a dark gray uniform? hard for me to picture in my head. It does not look that bad for WVU. Def nothing flashy or hype worthy.

Bottom line is the players want it and i'm all for it. I'm not saying we should go full Oregon, but once or twice a year wouldnt hurt

Geez WVU is getting horrible at the revolving uniforms. It's not that their new ones are bad but they are now changing almost every year.

Then of course we let them because it is all about them. Then the next year, they'll decide they had great success in high school, but their colors were green and yellow. Then the year after that, the junior college transfers will only come if we wear royal blue.
