The sooner UT re-ups with adidas the better.
The belief that Nike, and even more laughably Under Armour, would cure all these perceived uniform ills is getting so old.
Want to be lumped (deal wise) with Ole Miss and South Florida? Fine, keep pining for those brands.
FINNALLY, something I disagree with from CBJ!! Glad it's just uniform stuff and nothing important. I can't find anything else with CBJ's work to complain about...life is good!!
Some of you are acting like we rehired Dooley when it comes to very minor changes to the unis.+1. I said the other day that Jones hadn't set a foot wrong since arriving in Knoxville, and that streak lasted for about 4 more days. To me, the complete overhaul of the away uniforms plus alternates in TWO games is an embarrassment. At least we'll get to enjoy the traditional look for 6 of the 12 games. I'm afraid the is just the first in a series if steps that sees us toss our long time, easily identifiable aesthetic brand out the window for good.
I betting this will be what the "TENNESSEE" will look like on the away jerseys.
It seems to be what adidas uses the most when they spell out Tennessee.
Which I really like that look!

This is the only thing seen so for (showing the small outline of the state above the names) and due to the texture seen in the jersey it is believed this is from a orange "Camo" type jersey that will be the special jersey we are going to wear for one home game.So when are these uniforms going to be unveiled.
Are there any pics of them yet?
If so can someone post the pics?

Let's face it, our shade of orange is the very definition of "tacky." Not sure how much tackier they could possibly look!

Lighten up Francis.
The "traditional look" you speak of has changed dozens of times over the years. I would hardly say adding the state on the front is an overhaul. Everything else will be relatively the same as your idea of traditional.
The state is going on the back collar above the players names, and I've said multiple times that I think that is a nice addition. What I'm against is filling up any unused real estate in the front of the jersey with a script "Tennessee". I just think its going to be too much and that script font is better served on baseball jerseys.
