im a little bit afraid of how a grey uniform with white helmet is going to look.

I would like to see the orange helmet with orange pants and grey jersey. I think that would give the uniforms a more balanced look. Also, I thought the all grey would be sick with the gray helmet as an alternate uniform.

having a grey uniform with our regular white helmet seems lazy. if we are going to do an alternate uniform, do the whole thing,not just order jerseys like we did last time. it looked tacky.

there is one reason and only one reason I would enjoy the Vols making changes to their uniform every 5 years. It would be to see how fast Oneida high school manages to copy it.

I played Oneida my jr year. Our colors were red and grey (red helmet, red jersey, grey pants.). You would have thought it was Tennessee versus Georgia. Love my high school but hated being the "Georgia" of game.

we are deciding between 2 school districts right now and one is red/black and uses the Georgia G and one is Orange/black and uses the UT T. My wife doesn't get it and says we aren't picking based on HS uniforms

Oregon is asking fans to wear Yellow to the game against us. Normally what they ask fans to wear matches there tops. May be something to the grey at Oregon rumor. Any news about that DP?

That's probably why wearing gray was talked about at Oregon, there's a decent chance Oregon is going to wear their "new" all yellow uniforms.

That's going to really hurt people's eyes, especially if it's a sunny day.

I love Oregon's unis, but I dont think there is anything we can wear that will make that game not be ugly as far as color goes. Our orange will clash with their yellow no matter what and millions across the country will need Lasik after the game.

Maybe that's why we're talking gray, to tone it down a bit.

Actually if we go all white it would probably be best.

Media Day isn't til August 15th. Nothing was said about them at SEC Media Days.
