I don't know about you guys, but I've kinda got a feeling that on August 15th when it comes time for uniforms to be revealed that were all (minus a couple on here in the loop) gonna be seeing them for the first time! I don't know, but it just seems like there are to many pics floating around and like the WOW factor of surprise has been taken away! I'm probly wrong and just reading into it to much, just a thought! Carry on GBO
I hope so. I know Raleigh didn't win much at all while here, but I did love his choice of uniforms, especially early in his stint here.
Ugh, I thought his uniforms were awful, at least his first couple of years. I never liked how Delmonico's teams relied on black so much, but Raleigh's changes made us look like some Class A high school team.
And I appreciated the attempt at orange batting helmets, but they were hideous. They didn't come close to matching the orange in the uniforms.
Yes, we've worn black hats and socks, with very limited exceptions, for the entire history of the baseball program at Tennessee.
There will be an orange alternate hat again.
I just don't get it, personally. If the softball team can have good looking orange socks, no reason why the baseball team can't. Oh well, I guess.
Outside of the 70's Oakland A's, I don't recall many baseball teams wearing light-colored socks. It looks fine for softball, but I don't think it would be a good look for baseball.
Didn't they wear them under Raleigh? Or orange stirrups? But also, most teams wear socks that are their colors: Reds and Cardinals red socks, Braves navy blue, etc. Cubs wear the lighter royal blue. Guess that's the curse of lighter primary colors.
