Not sure if serious.

When are the gators breaking out the ALL Demin Jort UNIFORMS?

You remember the Denim style Team USA uni's they wore in the Winter Olympics? Florida could totally do an ode to jorts with their uni's and it would be rather awesome if they did. I'd definitely give them credit for having a sense of humor.

By now I guess everyone has seen the new uni's. Who gets the all black ones?

Gators, Tide, Georgia, Vandy?
I'm guessing UGA, but hope Oregon would agree to wearing their white jerseys at home, so we could wear the Smokey Greys. Since we aren't rivals of theirs and with all the flashy uniforms Nike provides them, I doubt they'd care one way or the other, if we asked them.

I did some work on a 3D model, and came up with a carbon fiber version that I think would match the Smokey Greys really well. Can't hurt to add a little sizzle, for the sake of team morale and recruiting.

A lot of people scoff about the impact new duds can make, but when you boil it all down...we all like to look good. We like to buy stuff....that looks good. Appearance matters. From guns to graphic cards for our computers, to chewing gum (packaging).

I remember when I was in the Army...every day (when you're not in the field) you're expected to show up for formation with sharp looking uniforms. If you didn't you got in trouble, to one degree or the other. If looking sharp didn't matter, why would the Military place such a high emphasis on it?

And in terms of the team/unit morale...it matters, too. Part of any Ranger (all Infantry, actually) Operations Oder would include information about the enemy's state of morale. Why? Cause it matters...greatly. It means the difference between them fighting tooth and nail, or bailing with the first shot fired.

At the end of the day, sharp looking uni's can impact team morale, favorably. No, that doesn't mean it covers for a lack of talent or coaching, but it can give the team an added (psychological) boost.

Thanks...it is actually a dark grey (Carbon Fiber) with black accents.

well all in all you ought to take this idea to the UT athletic committee and see what they think about the helmet..I think they as well as all of Vol nation would buy into it.. :)

Our new white away replica jerseys look hideous. They tried to give it a checkered board pattern look in the numbers by just adding dark orange brownish squares. I was totaly disappointed because I was going to buy one until I saw it. Now hopefully I can find a premier away jersey with sown on numbers

They don't look much different in person than the real ones do.

“@VolRumorMill: Heard an unfounded RUMOR that there MAY be an alternate helmet unveiled for the Oregon game. So...there's that.”

Hmm...

I'll leave this here and wait for DeerPark to refute.

As I've said before, during the design process the one thing adidas was told could not be altered was the helmet.

It's not impossible, but I would say it's very unlikely.

Translation: @VolRumorMill is starting a rumor that we're wearing an alternate helmet.
