I don't know what his specific major will be, but I know he's already got one picked out. He's a 4.0 student at East HS.

To recap: In the last week, Memphis has hosted local 2013 kids Johnathan Williams III, Austin Nichols, and now Nick King.

Only thing that came out afterward [8-08-12] was that King had moved 3 TN schools in front of TX (per JasonSmith talking to King).

FYI --- now if he visits on Monday, 8-13, I'll look like an idiot, but so will J. Martin. Little or no buzz following visit for some reason. TIFWIW

Yep! This is spot on! The perception some people have of the way it is here is so off. There are sooo many UT fans here and basketball is making huge progress here. It is definitely the loud minority causing this but it simply isn't true! Memphis basketball is king here but UT is definitely second and making up huge ground!

I don't think the question is what % of the population of Memphians hate TN or preach hate towards UT so much as how influential that % is in the local HS basketball scene. The perception inside the gyms could be drastically different than the perception in the burbs.

That the perception in the gym is slighty different from the one they possess in the 'burbs is an extreme understatement.

Come on now MC...just because the posts got deleted in the Hubbs thread doesn't mean what was said didn't get said. You said it it yourself something along the lines of "I'm just trying to help a fellow brother out"? You said tweeting a player to come to your school was againist the rules. Which one is it??

This is pretty easy to figure out, one was a benefit of UT, the other a benefit of Memphis, that's why one wasnt ok and the other deserves mention.

MC is just mad that Memphis fans can't tweet recruits without showing their true colors and winding up cussing out these kids.

Gotta love them Memphians.

I thought he said with Tobias it was ok because of a previous relationship or something, that may have been a different poster though. No way to tell now.

Weren't you the one that brought up Harris tweeting all these kids? Tobias gets to tweet to players and it's hunkie dorie by you, but Barton does it and it's a violation?

Hypocrisy abounds.

C'mon man, if you're going to have an argument, you can't just attribute whatever you want to me. I never said Tobias had done anything wrong.

Tobias clearly has previous relationships with the recruits he speaks with.
