you're right, obviously. If they support the taliban, then I really don't have a huge gripe with the casualties. I just like to remember that a lot of these people never stood a chance.

We are not targeting rescuers period. No matter what we do over there short of pandering to them and letting them run as they want, will have any change on their ridiculous propaganda.

You think that if we stop putting the pressure on them that they will magically start loving the West and stop creating a world of terrorism? Unless we fall to our knees and embrace their beliefs, it will not stop.

Sorry, watching a vid on the Battle of Milvian Bridge, should be working but...

Ok, where were we? Look there are a lot of things I could point to that could increase the number of jihaders but this isn't one of them. This is just the opposite. While the western press and al Jazeera might paint this as an attack on innocent mourners, the people at funeral know this is part of the fight and are pissed they are losing. Every time the talibs lose a fight they turn to the media to paint the outcome in a way that will make us look like the bad guys.

Everyone repeat after me "We are the good guys"

I'm very passionate when it comes to these subjects. I come across as being barbaric or something of the sort. I've known too many men better than I, give there last breath in this sh!t hole of a country. Are we making all the right choices? Hell no! Fighting an insurgency is like a chess game but you can't win without the support of the pieces on the board. Only problem is the board pieces are too busy smoking hash and asking for more money. And the value of a life can be the same as that of a goat.

I don't think they'll love us, but they'll have less reason to attack us.

They don't hate us for our religion. They hate us because we **** **** up in their part of the world.

You think terrorists aren't more likely to attack our innocent civilians when crap like this is circulating on the internet?

Completely wrong on all accounts. Yes, they do hate us and our religion. They hate us because I can go down the street to BK and get a whopper, eat half, then throw the rest in the trash and not think twice about it. They will be aggresive and want to attack whether or not we are pounding them with missile assaults. When have they ever been a peaceful group?

I try to keep that in mind when I read or hear stuff about our activities overseas. I have friends in the marines and appreciate all they do. I just try and think about what it would be like to be born into that crap. I'd say most don't stand a chance - it's terrible.

So what's the game plan, then? Conquer every Muslim country? There is no way we are making ourselves safer from terrorism. Intelligence does not support this notion. We are bankrupting ourselves. That's much more of a national defense threat than any enemy. Is the plan just perpetual war?

I didn't know our people posed smiling next to carnage we wrought. The point is it's only going to help the recruitment of our enemies. If you are a young Jewish-American and you see pictures of Nazis smiling over the dead bodies of Jews do you think you might be inspired to go kill some Germans?
