US may have killed Quds Force Commander Qasem Soleimani

We've been assassinating terrorist leaders and flunkies for decades. The difference here is we picked on an entity that has more resources than the normal groups we go after.

Hell, we even assassinated one of our own citizens and his kid.

You may be right. At any rate, I am afraid that Israel will likely receive the brunt of Iran's retaliation for this act.
 
Maybe I've missed the discussion in the pages, and I'm not trying to upset or provoke anyone with this, but:

Was the strike on Soleimani in accordance with American military policy for assaults on other governments, and with international law?

Not posturing, just honestly looking for information from those smarter than me.

Maybe and maybe - my point is these things are sufficiently fluid/vague.

If John McCain was still alive I wonder what his reaction would be. He was as war happy as his adopted son Lindsay but hated Trump. Quite a conundrum for him I would imagine.
