They try on the battlefield but can't, which is exactly where we killed this terrorist. If you think he was there for any reason other than working against our interests and planning/ organizing attacks on our people and allies then we can't possibly have a discussion on this topic unless you have evidence to the contrary.
Yet you still can't refute it. Rich that someone who refers to themselves as Septic calling anything trash. If it weren't for places like OAN people would never hear the other side of anything. So you and the Septic corrupt water carrying libs with journalistic integrity can sit down.
Cnn is worse than OAN.Making sht up, calling it news and then claiming one can't refute it is about what I'd expect from an OAN guy.
I don't need to refute an opinion.
It's not debatable that OAN is wildly partisan and have been caught with thir proverbial pants around there ankles on more than one occasion; they don't get to sit at the adult table and folks who cite an op-ed as 'proof' of anything don't either.
OAN is opinions crafted for morons, if that shoe fits...
There is common sense then there is using the narrative to fit your beliefs.Gosh, I would have thought it would have been the killer that needed to provided justification, not the other way around.

Want we know:
A known terrorist with a resume of attacks a mile long is in Iraq, around the same time attacks begin.
He was killed by a strike along with another senior terrorist responsible for attacks on Western interests from Hezbollah.
We have been told the strike was to stop what was perceived as imminent attacks
Some Iraqi officials state that he was there as a negotiator/diplomat, something that is not on his resume and seems rather unlikely given his area of expertise.
Summary:
Based in the info above it seems most plausible that the explanation given makes the most sense. If you have info to the contrary I'd be happy to listen.
If General August had a history of, at the minimum, parroting death to Country X, was meeting with some other individuals who had just the day before attacked Country Xs embassy in Weberstubchen and was officially recognized as a terrorist by Country X I would say us Americans would have a lot of questions before blaming Country X.So a quick and dirty attack on General August while he dines at Weberstübchen would be fair game. After all, we could have kept him home.
