Making sht up, calling it news and then claiming one can't refute it is about what I'd expect from an OAN guy.

I don't need to refute an opinion.

It's not debatable that OAN is wildly partisan and have been caught with thir proverbial pants around there ankles on more than one occasion; they don't get to sit at the adult table and folks who cite an op-ed as 'proof' of anything don't either.

OAN is opinions crafted for morons, if that shoe fits...

There is common sense then there is using the narrative to fit your beliefs.

What we know:
A known terrorist with a resume of attacks a mile long is in Iraq, around the same time attacks begin.

He was killed by a strike along with another senior terrorist responsible for attacks on Western interests from Hezbollah.

We have been told the strike was to stop what was perceived as imminent attacks

Some Iraqi officials state that he was there as a negotiator/diplomat, something that is not on his resume and seems rather unlikely given his area of expertise.

Summary:

Based on the info above it seems most plausible that the explanation given makes the most sense. If you have info to the contrary I'd be happy to listen.

If General August had a history of, at the minimum, parroting death to Country X, was meeting with some other individuals who had just the day before attacked Country Xs embassy in Weberstubchen and was officially recognized as a terrorist by Country X I would say us Americans would have a lot of questions before blaming Country X.

I have no idea why all the details keep getting dropped.
