USC fans talking crap about Tennessee

Uh, look at the skyline once or twice...you can definitely see the clouds of smog there

First of all, Waikiki Beach in Hawaii fits that same description of an overrated, crowded, dirty beach. In general, the best beaches are the ones you haven't heard of because the big names are ruined by now. Most of LA's are either crowded, dirty, actually dangerous, or just (Muscle Beach) kinda weird. And no, my cousin lives in Santa Monica.

I don't necessarily agree with that, Tennessee may have just as many a-holes but not as many annoying idiots who think everyone in the world wakes up wishing to trade places with them

a lot of times peopel confuse the fog with smog.

i wouldn't get caught dead in waikiki. santa monica is very similar certainly because a lot of people from east la just drive down the 10 and are too lazy to drive to the nice beaches. next time try manhattan, hermosa, or newport or drive 2 miles north of santa monica on pch where you will find tons of other beaches that aren't nearly as popular.

it really depends who you hang out with obviously.

Northern was better IMO.

for a vacation i would agree. for living it isn't nearly as good. of course i don't personally like vacationing in big cities.

I'm pretty sure there's a massive smug alert for Los Angeles. It's not quite the size of the San Francisco one, though

i'd be willing to be most here would find the no cal dbags much more smug and annoying than the so cal ones. i definetely do.

You guys realize that most people from CA hate USC right?

The only people that like USC are people from USC.

USC is like James Spader from Pretty in Pink.

Is that the first Pretty in Pink reference on this board?

probably, is that the first avatar with a unicorn in it?

LA is the greatest place on earth. live here for 6 months and then tell me how much it sucks compared to tenn.

I love LA and had a great time when I was there, but I agree with what most are saying about the people out there. The only reason I wouldn't want to live there is because of the people. Everyone I have met from California is extremely selfish and extremely rude.

Again, not all of you are like that I am sure, but there is a bigger majority of that in CA than in TN.

Obviously my statement isn't too "ridiculous" when, considering your proposal, I have done what you said and drew a different conclusion than what you thought. I think it is awesome that you are proud of where you are from, but just because other people feel differently for their own reasons doesn't make them wrong.

Also, I have highlighted a couple parts of my statement that I think you missed.. I didn't say anything terrible about your beloved state, but I did give you the impression that I got from the people that live there.

Before we moved back here, I lived there for longer than that when my dad got a job out there, sorry...but it sucks a lot compared to Tennessee. To each their own though.

USC can rag all they want this year. They'll be sucking oxygen in 2 years when they have to play both ways. Just as well their fan base does already!

i think it still hasnt sunk in for a lot of you.

USC IS A NON-FACTOR IN THE WORLD OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL for at least the next 5-10 years. they are not worthy of attention. you guys may as well go read the kentucky or illinois boards.

i too wish we could have watched them slowly fall apart, but it all happened overnight. we can now refocus our hate on alabama and florida, teams that matter.
