so Tennessee's answer is to schedule Old Dominion (who's speed would honestly destroy us), Arkansas Pine-Bluff, Elon, Connecticut, UMass and Wake Forest. So simple. Can't believe we didn't think of it before.

Who is crying? Just pointing out facts that you can't refute. You're a simpleton, Yankee. You look at 8-4 and you think he has hung the moon. Look at who he beat and then wait when the schedule turns and he has to play LSU and/or Bama and UGA and Fla isn't decimated with injuries and UT isn't garbage.

And 2 of those OOC wins weren't even against FBS schools. So, thanks for playing.

We're taking about Vandy. Not UT. Not GA. Not even Miss St. VANDY. 8-4 regardless of who they play is impressive for VANDY. I'm not saying it'd be impressive at most schools in the SEC

And I basically said the same thing. Except I said he hasn't really beaten anyone nor has he scheduled any OOC teams worth a damn. He also has picked off low hanging fruit in the SEC that hasn't been seen in many moons in UGA, UT and Fla That's why he got to the 8-4.

I didn't say it was, but look at who he beat and not just the 8-4. Is it impressive for Vandy given their history? Yes. Is it impressive for any other program with a pulse? Uh, no.

He also got drilled by USCjr and Mizzou. The only teams with a pulse.

As an aside, people keep saying that Franklin was in play for the USC job and supposedly others in the past, yet I've not heard one account of him being contacted. We'll see how many people truly contact his people in the coming weeks with jobs coming open.

I still don't understand this logic, or how you think it supports your argument.

(1) Because UT and UF suck, Franklin is a good coach? It's like Peter Griffin logic. "I'll never own a Toyota. A friend bought a Toyota once and, BAM! He got the clap!"

(2) Two of his three signature wins, you just pointed out are really, really bad teams.

You've done yourself no favors here.

Even Clay Travis admitted that he didn't think Franklin ever interviewed. He might've been on the list, but quite a few people would've had to say no.

I want to see him stay long enough for us to rebuild and kick the dog shizz out of him. I want to see him continue to whine like a little kid trying to shame people into buying tickets to fill that awesome 40,000 seat stadium. I want to see him get passed over for job after job while the Nashville media sack swingers continue to tout him as the second coming of Vince Lombardi.
