USU Aggies Spring Ball Video

This USU team is faster than last years WKU team. And thats where we get screwed from time to time. The only reason we beat WKU by 28+ was because of the 5 turnovers in 6 plays.

Don't drink their koolaid. If you haven't, watch their spring game video. Most of their players look like they're running in mud.

Let me put it this way. If they are even ballpark close to UT in terms of talent then NEVER use recruiting rankings to argue for a coach again. By my count, they have less than 15 3* players on their roster... the rest are lower.

We all know the recruiting svcs miss players from time to time. They don't miss THAT many.

We earned those turnovers. The only reason Alabama beat us is because the scored more points than we did. Those turnovers weren't given to us per say

Wasnt the Coleman pick 6 thrown right to him too? Im just saying that if we didnt get lucky and have such a crazy series of events happen, the score wouldve been a little closer.

POA, don't be drawn into that "yeah, but the outgained you" argument for the WKU game. OF COURSE, they outgained UT. They had the ball for 5 minutes longer and were slinging it all over the place trying to catch up after falling behind. Doughty threw for only 50% and had 65% for the season. In nine games he completed over 60% of his passes and 4 he went over 70%. IOW's... he's a pretty accurate passer that got schemed by UT.

How is that arrogant? Literally both of the first two games will be like 45/55 games, theres a better chance we win 1 than lose both. The other 4 games, I think we will be favored in 3. BSU will be favored over us.

WKU last year was more talented than USU this year. UK is more talented and more than likely would have won 8 games vs USU's schedule last year.

The worst thing for them is the matchup with UT's WR's. This isn't a USA '13 like game. This is more of a Cincy '12 type of game. The comparison to Cal '06 works too though USU is nowhere close to as talented as Cal was.

I see what your saying about the turnovers, they made it look pretty easy. But we were in the right place at the right time. We earned them by being disciplined.

I realize you think that 3 good seasons against mid-major competition makes you a powerhouse... but you are out of your gourd if you think your game with UT is 45/55 based on talent.

UT has more talent. It ain't close. Based on talent alone... it is more like 95/5 UT.

UT's 1st D held its own without its best LB for most of the game, best S, and best DT. UT has a question at LT. That's a fact... but not one that will be critical against USU.

Did you also notice how few passes were dropped by guys who will be in the first string rotation? Did you notice consistently accurate passing from 3 of the 4 QB's... with the 4th more accurate than either of your guys? Did you notice the DB's that DIDN'T look like they were running in sand?

The fact is the UT has been down and would have dominated the 3 schedules you use to justify all your arrogance. And... your best 3 seasons in about 40 years would have looked about like the rest of your seasons during that period had you played UT's schedule.

I know that your talent is not on par with UT much less the teams UT has faced during this rough patch. I know that you are a program with a history of futility with fans that somehow think a 3 year anomaly created by players and a coach that are no longer there gives you a basis for thinking you are a world beater. I know that most of your players were passed over by bigger programs to INCLUDE Utah, Boise, BYU, etc.

I don't have to know "more" than you know... such as their favorite color or whether they had a puppy named Shep to know that UT has more talent... ALOT more talent.

i just dont see how these USU fans justify that they are on par with UT and their argument is "you guys have sucked and we have been winning lately." these guys played 6 teams with a losing record last yr. 1 team that was 6-6 and another team who was 7-6. thats 8 games. Not to mention these teams play in joke conferences. But to make fun of us because we lost to Bama, Oregon, Auburn,, Mizzou, etc is just ridiculous


its one thing to be a mid major. its a whole diff thing to really only play other crappy mid major school.except for about 4 games.

WKU is slower than USU? how do you know? USU lost a ton and everyone wants to point out what UT lost. WKU has recruited better than USU and even had a high 4 star safety from UF. WKU had better talent as a whole. Esp if youre comparing WKUs 2013 team to USU 2014.
