Debate isn't a place for satire. And if you are being facetious could you be a bit more clear about it? Definitive statements that do not sound like hyperbole.... aren't that easy to discern if they aren't meant to mean what they say.

Second of all, I watched Tennessee get abused on the ground game after game. I hope you aren't relying on your defense to play defense.

Lastly, your passing attack last year was in the bottom 15 in the country. Read that again. Your quarterback and your wide receivers are ranked behind 110 teams. Not only that, but it isn't clear that you have anybody better to step up this year. So why are you worried about our DBs? Do they even have to play?

Thought wins were wins and losses were losses buddy. What happened to that argument, your only argument. Tennessee is the 8th winningest major college program in the history of college football.... right there with teams like Michigan, Texas, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Ohio St, Oklahoma, and Alabama.

I know you guys aren't much on football out in Utah, but you've heard of those teams haven't you? Tennessee's #8 in all time wins behind those guys.... not exactly Yale and Harvard, eh boss?

First game was against Alabama and by the time he got to the teams he had a chance against he was throwing to second string wr's due to injury.

I pretty much had... but he seems to taken a fancy to stalking me and finding opportunity to start it up again. He doesn't seem interested in my posts where I argue that the OL will be better than expected, that I like the direction of the O, or believe in the QB's more than most... only the ones where he thinks he can get a fight going. I just want to say my favorite post in this thread was the one saying USU LBs are slow. They're pretty quick, and it shows in our rush defense. we held most teams under their rushing average.

If you are referring to my post... then maybe read again or better yet get someone to read it to you so you can understand all the big words.

For example, Air Force averaged 262 yards per game rushing. We held them to 162.

AFA was a 2-10 team last year. Five teams beat them by more than 20 pts. IOW's... back ups played ALOT for most teams against AFA. Congratulations on that major accomplishment.

CSU's RB was coming off of 600 yards and 10 touchdowns the previous two weeks. We held him to 54 and zero.

The combined records of those two teams was 7-17. Out of 125 FBS schools... they were 122 and 124 in rushing D. Cal Tech (FCS) held him to 48 and AFA held him to 79.... They were 121 nationally in rushing D.

we held jordan lynch to 39 yards.

we held USC to 60 yards under their average.

You mean in the game that basically got Kiffin fired, right?

the linebackers are the best part of our team. they're very good, very quick, and rarely out of position.

Like I said, unless they were holding something back they looked slow in the videos. The first two parts of that are not a concern. If they were SEC speed and quickness... they wouldn't be playing in the MWC. The last part DOES concern me. Lesser athletes can play great football if they just master that.

the CBs are a worry, but they're not bad. They're not even below average.

Below avg for what? A mid-major or the SEC?
