Hope you're having fun.So your saying UT has about as good a chance as winning it all compared to the Big 10.First, greetings from Big Bear Lake in California. Sorry, but the Appalachians cannot hold a candle to the mountains of the Redlands. Now then, I figure there are 40 teams that have the capacity to get lucky here and there and make a decent run. Of those, I'd figure there are 15 in a given year that have a realistic shot and of those, probably 5 are thought to have a real shot.Last year, Florida was in the 15, but not in the 5. This year, I don't think UT is in the 15. Ergo, I give you one chance in about 25. Or 4 pct.
Everyone thought with Peyton staying the extra year.UT had a good chance to run the table. No one on this board can honestly say they saw the N/C coming in 1998.I know my % is out there but what's wrong with a little (alot of) optimism.Maybe the no names can step up or come in and play.I still think we can put points on the board with Ainge and our running backs.I know the big ? is wide receivers.I actually started with a lower % but my love for the Vols shot the % up.........I guess we will see.
Considering this is from the same guy who roots for UNC in basketball, and thinks UT basketball is bad, I don't really care.
Get your facts straight. I've never said that UT basketball is bad. In fact, I've said that they're a team on the rise. I've just said that UT has been overseeded the last two years in the NCAA tournament and that many of UT's basketball fans believe they are far better than they really are. It's very difficult to go deep into the NCAA tournament with virtually no inside game. Until UT develops a strong inside game, they will continue to be capable of beating just about anybody on any given day, but will be incapable of stringing together enough wins to reach the Final Four and win a national championship.
