'24 VA LB Chris Cole (uga commit)

There's 40 4 stars in Florida. Florida could land top 10 classes by recruiting Orlando to south of Atlanta.

I don't think Florida St or Miami is ever going to be enough to keep them from getting talent, but I understand the logic.

If I propose to you that fla wont get 6-9 in-state players each year they covet b/c miami & fla state get them instead. In turn, it will cost roughly 1-2 players each year your favorite team wants. Would you take that deal?

FYI: it happened last recruiting cycle and it appears it’s happening again this cycle (majority of their top recruits this cycle are out of state). And not all 4* players in florida are difference makers, a good portion tend to disappear in the abyss

The problem with that is every single year you always have teams like Bama, UGA, Clemson and OSU come in and recruit Florida pretty heavy. Other teams like Michigan and USC and even we recruit Florida. It’s virtually impossible for teams like UGA, Texas, USC and Florida to get top 10 classes just by recruiting instate players.

Juice!
Is Cole a Vol??
I think he's very much interested, and I know he's being talked to and called daily by staff and current commits. I hate it to call it one way or the other but IMO the longer he holds out and then he makes the visit here, it really significantly turns in our favor

This kid is a stud. Him and Peyton Lewis are childhood best friends. Lot of momentum right now here. Let's see how the visit goes but it's gone from unlikely to a good shot pretty quickly.
You think we can flip rushing by nsd? Or is the circumstances at zona to big to overcome?

Depends how their season goes
5 wins max for them. I get his brother is there, hometown skool & nil, but zona is so trash and will come close to competing for a bottom feeder bowl. Vandy’s program is better. Thanks for the update!

That's the feeling up here near Salem and Radford. There's A LOT of VOL fans here nowadays too.

Getting back to owning Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia and South Carolina in addition to cherry picking Georgia (and the occasional California and Texas) is a great path back.

Need a billboard in Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska and Wisconsin that says “Will pay cattle for any corn fed OL”
