'24 VA LB Chris Cole (uga commit)

One person who is excited to make it in is Chris Cole. The Virginia linebacker sees the momentum with Tennessee in his recruitment and acknowledges that he is looking forward to going more in-depth this trip. The Vols could build a wave of momentum here with a strong weekend coming up ahead of his potential August decision.

I have a feeling Cole is going to be blown away with this visit. Will propel us to the top 3 of his favorites. LB room is going to get scary good. So excited for the future. LFG VFL
Of Cole, Spillman, and Singleton I like Cole the best, esp if we’re talking about a traditional ILB. He and Spillman both are decent in coverage and look to have a nose for the ball.

We are building a really good defense, assuming we can land a few more DL (Okydoke, Franklin, and Ross would be preferable). It may not be Georgia good, but it wont lose us games like last year

The way we score it doesn’t have to be Georgia good. But if it’s just simply “really good” then it’s gonna be tough to ever beat us.

If we can rank in the 30’s or better nationally in all the major defensive statistics then we will be unstoppable
I think being top 40 is key this year. Joe will put up good stats, I'm just nervous for end of game scenarios with him. The less the better, but that's true for every QB..

I'm betting he commits on his OV.

Right, and honestly with how good our offense is and will be, we just need the defense to be solid. I still think they intend to build an aggressive, high pressure defense that creates turnovers.

I mean we only loss 2 games and the defense is only responsible for 1 of them none the less I like what we are building on that side of the ball.

Right, but that one loss was REALLY bad lmao. Like how do you score 38 points and still lose by 25? Just embarrassing on our defense

We can even be slacking in some categories if we can get better at generating takeaways. With the efficiency of our offense, a few turnovers can put a team way behind and force them to play against their gameplan.

Defense was horrible that game but alot of external factors in that one I doubt we ever see something like that under heup again… perfect storm with injuries and suspended defensive captain for a scuffle with the team captain…

When talking DL don't forget Bradley and Hobbs they are among the best.
