I know you are joking but the way they calculate inflation is a joke. I honestly think we are closer to 25 than people realize. The industry I am in is getting killed by inflation and the actuaries keep basing everything off 18 percent.

It’s way higher than 25% on many grocery items and fast food. Chick Fil A increased its prices 25% in just the last year alone. Cereal has had closer to 50% increase.

I work in government data. It's all garbage, literally. And it is almost always "cleaned" by contractors to make whoever is paying them look correct.

Significant logical fallacy to take 2023 COVID strain stats (when it's not much more than a cold) and extrapolate it back to the 2021 strain (which was impactful on those 55+ with pre-existing conditions)

As detailed previously, I think the 3MM figure is excessive. But, the charts you provided show that it is some number. In short, the people who came up with the 3MM did the same fallacy as you but in reverse (they used earlier strains to determine death rate and extrapolated that)

In the first 20 weeks you showed, there were 15 more deaths per week per 100K unvaxxed than vaxxed on average (Some weeks it was closer to 30, others 10 so I used 15 since I am too lazy to look at each week).

Assuming 200MM vaxxed, that would be 30K deaths saved per week on average (200,000,000 / 100,000 * 15). Obviously, there would be some number for the 20 weeks prior to that as well. The numbers drop way off by Spring 2022 and by 2023 can be explained away by socioeconomic factors)

Still don't get to 3MM but the chart you provided does point to a number....
