Vaccine or not?

We are close in age bro, i think youre maybe 3 or 4 years older than me. Did you have chicken pox as a kid like I did? My older sister who is your age had it same time as me. Should i consider getting that vax...or is it for people that did not have CP as a kid? My mom had shingles for a lomg time and she was miserable. I dont want that...

@kiddiedoc what do you think bud? Trust you and Slice...my immediate family and I did NOT get the shots for the WutangFlu if that has any bearing. I havent had any vaccinations in many years...am probably 10 years overdue for tetanus or maybe even more honestly. Probably been 20 or 25 years since that one.
Because of everything Red has gone through I have access to an infectious disease specialist that I trust. I’m 55 and had CP as a kid. She says that everyone over 55 should get this vaccine. But I think you, and everyone else, should gather as much information as you can before making that decision. I found that these not a whole lot of downside to the shingles vaccine so Red and I both have taken it.

And if one has already gone through shingles, I would think natural immunity would be in play at that point. I had it a couple of years ago. It was not much of a problem as I had an itchy patch on my back for about a week. My Dad, God rest his soul, had a time with it!

I don’t speak on things I have no idea about.
I would imagine that natural immunity would take over for you but my father had it several times so I have no idea.

Now that you say that, I seem to recall reading it can recur, but if that is the case, makes me wonder why the vaccine would have more efficacy.

But as you pointed out this beyond (way) my level of expertise.

Also a question I need to ask.
I’ll let you know what I’m told.

The newer zoster vaccine (Shingrix) is much more effective than the older ones. Shingles is a reactivation of the varicella (chicken pox) virus that lives dormant in the nerve roots off the spinal cord. By stimulating production of VZV antibodies, the vaccine reduces the chance of this happening.

I remember hearing concerns about increased rates of Guillain Barre syndrome, but that's a risk with any vaccine or viral infection, and I'd have to look deeper before commenting.

Thanks for the time and thoughtful responses. Exactly why I asked yall. Of the many things I am thankful for this week, my brethren on VN are surely one of them. There's some really solid guys here, that anyone would be lucky to have as a friend. God bless you and yours this week as we eat to excess then mercilessly pummel our little brothers from Nashville that happened to step out directly in the center of our concrete path to "bigger and better things". May we hit them like a concrete truck with no brakes striking a wayward Geo Metro.

Disinformation at this point. Y'all know better. We've had AEDs in schools for a decade and have had cardiac events in children forever.
LOL We haven't seen cardiac events in healthy High School & College athletes the way we have the last 4 years.
Not to mention the increase in myocarditis in HS & College athletes.

Ummm, the amount of cardiac deaths for college athletes was at a 20 year low in 2022....

Imagine ascribing an outcome to a vaccine rather than the virus...and without any data that we have seen an increase. What you're describing here is confirmation bias.

I’ve been saying that in this thread forever.
If the “side effects” are happening at the same rate to the unvaccinated then the vaccine isn’t a problem.

When government agencies abandon their virology training and handle the virus like the 3 stooges then things get all screwed up.

I have confirmation bias that the idiots in charge at all levels screwed this up and many don’t care. Some did it on purpose.

Unless it's happeneing at the same rate to those who took the vbaccine, and those who were badly ill from covid. If the issue is the spike protein, wether you took the vaccine, or simply got COVID badly you had to deal with the damage did by that. Difference being is your immunity was also suppressed by vaccine. In any case though for most of the major issue linked to vaccine Sweden is your control group, and it did NOT happen there at the same rates.

It doesn't take a huge leap to understand why Phizer and others did not mind if the vaccine was contaminated with DNA that would cause a sharp increase of aggressive cancers, given they make a hell of alot more money on you as a cancer patient then they do the covid shot. But if one shot can make you the BIG C customer that's a win for them finincially.

SYNERGY

I do think there is a synergy at work, the MRNA shots weakened the immune systems, may have caused blood clotting, and also filled people with carcenogenic DNA particles due to trash manufactuering practices. BUT, there's also the massive amounts of poisons allowed in the American food supply, a rubber stamp FDA, the elimination of organized PE in the majority of our jr high, and high schools....(sorry one quarter of PE is not PE), and then the one people hate to talk about the most the fact we all have radiation devices in our pockets 24/7 now. The true work of the depopulation agenda community, and yes taht is a real thing. Is about making a synergy of overlapping mechanisms. It's hard to go after the poisoner if the poison requires 3-4 variables. Add to that the not malicious, and simply incompotence and greed factor in food and pharma companies, and an FDA easily bought and paid for....and it's a lethal mix. But right now the greatest danger to me is the number of professionals who should be by their oaths as doctors be on the front lines of this, who would rather defend their pride, then take an open look at the causes. A certain DR I am related to noticed my doctor had prescribed a over the counter Povidone-iodine nasel cleanse (cofix), I asked if they had tried it with their patients yet. He commented in the most arrogant tone, "Oh no, that's a bit off the reservation". Givin it was Thankgsgiving I bit my tongue, because I have seen how much myocarditus and cancer is "on the reservation" right now. There's not much money to be made on the povidine-iodine nasel cleanse sprays, and the cetylpyridinium chloride mouthwash.....but they do lower the viral load considerably while sick. They're not supposed to be a course of full treatment, but rather some added things than can help to lessen the effects while sick. Right now doctors are inundated with information on Big Pharma money makers like PAX LOVID etc... but many traditional or new treatment methods that lack a new trademarked expensive drug are glossed over. The "Reservation" comment the more I thought about it is a correct term. the reservation being a federal institution which was more or less a place to stuff an indiginous unwanted population the government would prefer not exist, and put them into unhealthy living conditions. I found the irony after thinking about the comment. I am glad I found a doctor who is OFF the reservation. The Reservation is incompotently run at best, malicious to it's population often, and exactly the healthcare we should avoid.
