Vaccine or not?

Seems legit. Guy used to be law school dean at Liberty U.

It’s phenomenal how much utterly ridiculous nonsense can be spewed so confidently. Vaginal Atrophy (most common), Endometrial cancer, and Cervical cancer can all cause post menopausal bleeding. But let’s go ahead and spew nonsense on how being vaccinated somehow causes unvaccinated people to have post menopausal bleeding.

A Dr. being fact checked by “journalists” is laughable. We’ve truly lost our collective minds and have accepted State/corporate/tech propaganda. When any and every dissenting viewpoint is immediately suppressed &/or classified as misinformation or false one has to begin questioning what’s happening. We’ve gone so far, the sheep are starting to refer to the most naive and conceding of their flocks as “humans”.
“according to the CDC’s guidance.”
J. Alex Huffman, an aerosol scientist at the University of Denver”
“Dr. Monica Gandhi, an infectious diseases doctor and professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and Linsey Marr, a professor of civil and environmental engineering at Virginia Tech who studies airborne disease transmission”
“a number of studies,”
Dr. Walter Orenstein, associate director of the Emory Vaccine Center,”
recent analysis of state-level breakthrough infection data by the Kaiser Family Foundation shows”
William P. Hanage, an epidemiologist at Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health”
“One study from the U.K., published in June in the New England Journal of Medicine,”
“a study by U.K. researchers published Aug. 10 in the journal Science Translational Medicine”
“That study, published on July 14 in Cell Reports Medicine,”
Kristen Cohen, a senior staff scientist in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center”
“Another study in which Cohen and colleagues at the Fred Hutchinson Center participated, published in Science”
“a real-world retrospective study by the CDC in Kentucky”
“an unpublished study, which hasn’t been peer-reviewed, that followed employees at the Cleveland Clinic Health System”
“Dr. David Boulware, an infectious disease specialist at the University of Minnesota,”
“neither the World Health Organization nor the National Institutes of Health
“the Food and Drug Administration”

Which of the article’s sources is a “journalist?”

Saw where the first confirmed case of lamda in the US in Texas yesterday. Texas of all places. I'm totally shocked.

I already don’t trust anything that bleeds for 3 days and doesn’t die.

This guy has a doctorate in veterinary medicine. How is he more knowledgeable than the vast majority of virologist or infectious disease experts in the world?
Look at what we are left with: a choice between allegedly unqualified sources vs sources like the CDC that have a recent history of goalpost moving, distorting and deceiving?

I agree and apologize if my post wasnt specific. I was referencing more Americans dying each year than American military that died in the VN war. IiRC there are roughly 70,000 soldiers, sailors, and airmen that were killed there? In a war which you correctly posted that would have likely been won in 1968 if we had continued the heavy saturation bombing which was so effective in Linebacker1 and 2. I should have worded my post differently, and coming from an extremely Military family, i never want to make light of the sacrifice of so many young men and women ...mostly just 18 to 20yo kids. My Pappaw and Dad each served 26 years , may God rest their souls.

I would be happy with that....but I am still hoping for Nikki Haley to win the nomination, bc she has a MUCH better chance to defeat kameltoe and whatever communist buddy the Dimwits pair her with.
I truly appreciate you taking the time and the way you responded. Sometimes I guess that I am overly sensitive that a lot of people just do not realize how bloody that war was in its entirety. Also I was in a back hand sort of way pointing out that the opiate damage goes way beyond the deaths in human suffering. In addition to continuing the bombing the road was wide open for us to go into Laos and cut the trail. There wasn't many NVA left down south at that point to defend it. We couldn't go into the North though because there was about 300,000 Chinese troops up there waiting on us. Again I appreciate you and your detailed posts.

Those of you who are still vaccine hesitant and have not had Covid, what is the information you are waiting to have addressed that will appreciate your hesitancy?

I would be waiting for the survival rate for my age demographic to decrease from 99.98% for starters. I would then see if the vaccine offers any benefit whatsoever. The numbers are all over the place and quite frankly, the CDC is turning out to be an unreliable source of info.

Even better would be Condoleezza Rice

I would prefer to get whatever the elites/politicians are taking.
All those dinosaurs roaming the halls of DC, very few if any have been sick or died.
I'm sure it's just the vaccine, cloth masks and social distancing.

The one uncertainty was the Chinese entering Viet Nam. Nobody ever pointed out the fact that as much as the Vietnamese liked Chinese help, they really didn't want them in Viet Nam. The Chinese had been there before, and ridding the country of them was worse than getting rid of fleas on a dog. Our intelligence agencies often tell the story that works best for them, and disregard the rest.

You know politicians are particularly repellant when even a virus doesn't want them as a host.

So other Dr’s viewpoints aren’t considered relevant? Watch Pandemic on Netflix, UCSF is is heavily involved in vaccine/virus research, they’re fully invested in this. The CDC and WHO have proven to be extremely reliable and apolitical….

Yes, he was a lab rat. He just didn’t know he chose to join the control group.
Voluntary lab rats like this dude are helping science and humanity.

Some people cannot get the vaccine for medical reasons, and some others are advised to take it at their own risk, as there are no long term studies on side effects yet. For them, this unit would be a godsend. Stop with the uber partisan attacks on DeSantis. You ought to be more thoughtful and less knee jerk than that.

The Tennessee department of health updated their weekly critical indicator numbers today. Was hoping that the increase in hospitalizations would start to wane but still rising about the same
Screen Shot 2021-08-14 at 5.03.48 PM.png
They've updated their hospitalized breakthrough infection section by including data from May through July which IMO isn't that helpful as we didn't have delta until late June-early July
Screen Shot 2021-08-14 at 5.05.08 PM.png
However compared to last week there are now 59 new hospitalized breakthrough patients and with a % of Tennesseans vaccinated at 39.9 this gives an overall vaccine efficacy at preventing hospitalizations for this past week alone at around 75-80% at a minimum but likely closer to about 85%. This does appear to be slipping compared to prior weeks from last week estimating about 90-95%. Also they are now reporting overall breakthrough cases in non hospitalized individuals but wish they would just focus on the data for the current delta wave instead and not overall
Screen Shot 2021-08-14 at 5.14.49 PM.png
Wonder how many of the deceased breakthrough infections were people who were immunocompromised that may have benefited from the 3rd booster shot. Probably a good portion of them sadly.
Also the talking point that dumb rural people are the ones driving this influx of cases isn't accurate as Shelby county continues to have by far the highest incidence rate over the past 7 days of any area of the state.

A total lack of information about possible long term or even short term (year or two) side effects of these vaccines.

That, coupled with the fact that these are experimental vaccines with new technology, and not approved by the FDA for any but emergency use.

At least you've had the decency to ask the question instead of calling us ugly names.

Thank you. The name callers here are actually the outliers, they're just easier to remember.

I falter and stumbled sometimes - I am mostly human, after all - but I think if everyone tried to approach difficult subjects with curiosity and empathy instead of with swords drawn we'd find most of our differences are artificial and overestimated.

Odds of winning Powerball .0000003 % Let's buy a ticket when it gets to 300 million!!!!!
Odds of dying from Chinese Flu .02% OMG, gotta get a shot of experimental therapeutics!
