Vaccine or not?

Even if the vaccine were to only reduce severity of Covid it would be worth doing to get to natural immunity

I worked as an ICU nurse for 7 years and I promise you that 2/3 (Ftr that’s conservative it was probably more like 80%+) of my patients were there due to poor life choices. I can’t count the number of times we had essentially no ICU beds available because we had 5 COPDers who refused to stop smoking and 4 CHFers who wouldn’t take their lasix because they didn’t like how much they had to pee on ventilators.
I would try to avoid drowning also.

Did you just call the guy (me) who agreed with you an anti Vader? I literally just said the vaccine is with doing even if it didn’t work as well as it does. And then to wish illness on anyone is just sad.
Maybe I misunderstood. But why should I care if they get sick if they don't care themselves. If that's what it takes to reach heard immunity (yes, it's a real thing) then I hope they all get sick...soon.

Just got news my son in law grandpa who was vaccinated, tested positive and step grandma ( not vaxed) put on a vent with maybe 10 percent chance of recovery -- They live in Gulf Shores Alabama
the grandma passed away last night - never got off the vent -- the grandpa is recovered ( never really was very sick since he had the vax )

Single death cases don't mean much regarding a medical treatment's efficacy. There could be 1000 positive cases out there where people were saved using Ivermectin but you'd never know because of the media. They will, however, happily report cases where it doesn't work and the patient dies.

I think it may be too early to label a vax group (pro or anti) as sheep. I'm banking on God given natural immunity in conjunction with alternative meds that doctors have had proven success with as opposed to a synthetic vax, rushed through production, untested (full gamut with animals and select humans) and only approved by the FDA as a political move. IMO it could take years for the dust to settle on all of this.
