Vaccine or not?

I don't know why he's chosing this battle. He's arguing to be argumentative it seems. The video will be used when she goes forward with a minimum of unemployment benefits.
Absolutely. There is a fundamental lack of understanding of the strategic positioning underway in the background of the whole situation. The purposeful avoidance of immediately clarifying her employment status tells you all you need to know. Who has ever been fired without being told? Who has ever quit their job onsite and not had it understood and acknowledged. Security guard was to avoid clarifying her status. That was on purpose. Not sure how else to explain it.

It's 100% obvious what the employer was trying to get away with. She left without that video she literally had nothing but her word against theirs. Her video is proof of her termination. I can't believe he can't see that. But you have to let people be themselves I guess. My guess is he knows this he's just being stubborn.

What's funny is I own my own business. Have personally fought people that were trying to get unemployment that were terminated for cause for very similar circumstances. Also, I'm not an anti-vaxer. I am 100% for freedom though.

An unvaccinated Coast nurse died of COVID. Her loved ones want to warn vaccine skeptics.

"Clemens had held off on getting vaccinated because she had Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune thyroid disorder, and a gluten allergy. Her doctor recommended she wait until later to get her shot, her husband said."

The story mentions that her fully vaccinated husband was in quarantine after getting covid before her.

A sad story made sadder by people that will use anybodies' misfortune to promote their agenda.

Here's a question that I've pondered... if an employer requires a vaccine as a condition of employment and then say in 2-3 years a debilitating adverse reaction emerges, can the employer be held liable for forcing the vaccine?

Agreed. I'm pretty much there with you. She is free to choose this path, whatever the consequences. The employer chose a path also, and they clearly appeared to be trying to avoid clarifying their position so as not to face any consequences for their decision in course of action (if there are any). No one did any wrong here if they all just stated their position through the situation.

Not in this case. The employer can simply say they were following orders mandated by the Federal govt.

And now how we got here. Convinced by a variety of anti-vaccine websites, Pastor John was certain the COVID-19 vaccine was not to be trusted. While his family got their shots, he refused. When he became ill, and then hospitalized on his birthday, he told his family he was sorry and that he had made a mistake. That's the kind of man John was. When presented with facts that went against what he thought to be true, he would either agree to disagree, or acknowledge and apologize.
What would John do had he lived? So many things. Work on his ministry. Watch his children grow into amazing adults. Retire to Panama with his wife. Continue to be the cousin and brother everybody loved best. Cull his massive reading collection (Ok probably not that!). But disinformation got in the way.
Like his wife, John would tell you to please get your COVID vaccine shots. He was determined to live, to make it, and to focus on that message. Yet, his final appearance needed no words from him. His wife, Gene, spoke in a video that went viral, telling others that it is ok to love God and get your shot. The two actions are not mutually exclusive. John would be happy to know (and we think he does) that their story convinced people to roll up their sleeves - and it continues to do so. It was an amazing parting gift to the world.

It’s unfortunate he became part of the .02%

She's an idiot. They don't have to give you a "termination" letter. The head of security isn't in charge of that anyway. He tells you to GTFO you go. Notice the video stopped? If she continued what you would have seen would be the police removing her from the property and issuing a no trespassing order. If she feels she has been mistreated get an attorney. Nothing in that video helps her cause at all.

That's a matter of opinion. My opinion is that anyone that believes an individual cannot make their own choice to not take a vaccine and be fired for it, is scum of the earth.

Yes. Surgical tech, recovery coordinator (at an organ procurement organization), telemetry unit floor nurse, Cardiac ICU nurse, and finally CRNA.
That’s the stepping stone I was looking for the cardiac icu rn. It is the last step before CRNA usually because of the acuity required and the check mark for critical care time. There is always a flux in cardiothorasic surgical ICU staffing because it is the best choice while doing CRNA.

I’ve been with covid pts for the most part of 18 month at 5 different facilities in ICU. I think the experiences I’ve had are different than yours as a CRNA unless you got sucked into team nursing on an ICU due to canceled surgeries. I only saw CRNAs when they were reporting off on cov + emergency surgical pts they transferred to us. So I’m not discounting your experiences as a gas master ( as my nephew calls himself) but it’s not the same as existing in covid ICUs for the duration of covid. They are totally different perspectives and different levels of activity.
With nursing shortages being what they are now it’s even more interesting. That’s putting the situation mildly.

False. The director of security isn't charged with the job of informing her of her employment status. She's wasting everyone's time. Hire a lawyer
There was also a nursing administrator present making statements. It’ll be useful if she decides to claim non voluntary termination. ” I didn’t quit and I wasn’t fired “ “ you no longer work here”. She’s asking for proof she doesn’t work there anymore. If she could clock in they haven’t removed her from staffing yet. They are being purposely ambiguous I’m guessing either d/t unemployment claim or future lawsuits results claiming the mandate unconstitutional. I think that’s coming.

Apparently all they have to do is say it’s for religious or medical reasons.
It’s more complex than that. According to our hospital having covid before has no standing and the cdc does not recommend checking for seroconversion of natural immunity before getting the vaccine. It is a purposeful blind spot created to force me into taking a vaccine I don’t need.
I don’t think me religiously believing that this entity is encroaching on my God given rights to self determination will go over well. Just saying.

In the same capacity that I support every other required vaccination.
The titres I obtain yearly are valid proof to healthcare entities that I have immunity against said diseases that they require testing for. Would you support titres that prove natural immunity to covid as proof of immunity thereby not requiring a vaccine?

Of course.
