Vaccine or not?

ISRAELI STUDY: Fully Vaxxed Are 27 Times More Likely To Get COVID Compared To People With Natural Immunity - National File

Fact is vaccines are causes these different strains. They will continue to change because of the vaccines. Are people going to get a monthly vaccine shot? Due to the various strains. The virus has to keep growing so the gov can continue gaining more power. Complete insanity
If you’re unvaccinated and never had Covid you should definitely run out and catch Covid. Catching Covid is definitely the best defense against catching Covid again.

While technically partially true, not worth the risk in the US healthcare system. India or Africa, surprisingly you'd probably have a better chance.

There are 4 people who have died from Covid in my neighborhood of 350 ish homes.
I keep hearing the 1% number but at the rate this thing spreads 1% is a shitload of people.

You have the right to not take the vaccine. I will continue to think not taking it is an unnecessary risk

I have no issue with people making their own choice. I believe relying on the vaccine alone has killed more people than would've had to die.

Real news from Israel
Israel's 17% unvaccinated now account for 65% of all serious COVID-19 cases

So almost half of all their serious Covid cases are vaccinated?
Seriously?
yes 83% of the people make up less than 40% of the hospitalization. They also make up less that 20% of the ICU patients and less than .05% of the fatalities.

You can’t spin your way out of the obvious advantage of taking the vaccine from the Israel numbers.

No, the real news especially in this country is about natural immunity. Thanks to smart people there, dumba$$es in this country can read about it. Because that science is being suppressed.
Why don’t you look at the source and not just the headline

Do you just read headlines that you like and not worried about the source, it makes you look dumb.

  • Overall, we rate National File an extreme right Tin-Foil Hat Conspiracy website based on the promotion of unproven/debunked claims and a Strong Pseudoscience purveyor based on using junk science to support claims.

How do you/they rate science.org?

The new analysis relies on the database of Maccabi Healthcare Services, which enrolls about 2.5 million Israelis. The study, led by Tal Patalon and Sivan Gazit at KSM, the system’s research and innovation arm, found in two analyses that never-infected people who were vaccinated in January and February were, in June, July, and the first half of August, six to 13 times more likely to get infected than unvaccinated people who were previously infected with the coronavirus. In one analysis, comparing more than 32,000 people in the health system, the risk of developing symptomatic COVID-19 was 27 times higher among the vaccinated, and the risk of hospitalization eight times higher.

I don't believe that to be the case. Most of these strains are coming from countries with very low vaccination rates.

All of mine were vaccinated of their own choosing. All except for one. He has covid now. Quarantining at his own expense.
I got vaccinated.
I never asked anyone to do it.
We had a client who requested no unvaccinated employees so I asked the staff who was vaccinated and explained it was so I could decide where everyone was working. Only one guy wasn’t fully vaccinated and was due his 2nd shot.

that makes scheduling easier

So why would the headline be purposely misleading? If you’re saying the 17% of unvaccinated account for 65% of serious cases wouldn’t that mean 35% of serious case are vaccinated?

So the unvaccinated and never had Covid should definitely go out and catch Covid to keep themselves safe from Covid.

Unless someone is saying that those who already had Covid need to be vaccinated…..
This is a stupid argument to make. It’s borderline moronic.
If you’ve never had Covid then having already had Covid doesn’t help you.

I have a friend who's FIL passed about 6 hours ago. He was mid 70's. Nashville. He got diagnosed, went to Dr. Requested monoclonal antibodies. They refused saying he wasn't high risk enough despite him having heart issues and a prostate cancer survivor. Went home with meds. Got worse, called an ambulance for himself. Stayed in hospital for 3 days. Needed ICU but no beds. Was getting ready for transfer to ST Thomas when he died of heart attack .

He was fully vaccinated, moderna.

That really sucks.
why would high risk have anything to do with the monoclonal antibody treatment? My Dr is writing it for everyone who tested positive. I’ve been told if I test positive to expect that treatment.
crazy that they would not give it to him unless it was an age thing.

He had a girlfriend of similar age. She got the treatment. Still not doing well.
