Anyone over 65 years old meets criteria for MAb. This is medical negligence.I have a friend who's FIL passed about 6 hours ago. He was mid 70's. Nashville. He got diagnosed, went to Dr. Requested monoclonal antibodies. They refused saying he wasn't high risk enough despite him having heart issues and a prostate cancer survivor. Went home with meds. Got worse, called an ambulance for himself. Stayed in hospital for 3 days. Needed ICU but no beds. Was getting ready for transfer to ST Thomas when he died of heart attack .
He was fully vaccinated, moderna.
That's exactly what's being pushed in this country.
I didn't fear monger anything. Just because YOU say something is so does not make it true. The vaccine is really the only thing that's being pushed. Heard of the vaccine mandate?Lol good lord. No that's not true. Are they saying it's the best and most important thing? Yes. But no one is saying it's the only thing. You are a fear monger. The equivalent of the idiots who say vaccine or death. Two sides of the same coin. It's quite funny and remarkable.
I have and don't agree with it. And just bc YOU say something is true doesn't make it so. It's not my fault that the only thing you are allowing shoved down your throat is vaccine only. Do better. Get off bs websites. I will concede that it's being touted as the best and most effective. I agree with that. Anti forced vaxI didn't fear monger anything. this is a stupid statement that’s beneath you.You just had an example stated moments ago. The vaccine alone is not the smart way to fight covid.
I agree and it would be GREAT if they actually posted those numbers. It’s almost like they go out of their way to not post reinfection rates.
So we should make personal medical decisions simply for the benefit of others? Demanding that someone do something involving their body and health, for the sake of your body and health, is the very definition of selfish. You’re thinking about yourself, no differently than the person making the decision not to be vaccinated.I keep hearing over and over people saying, “why should it matter if I get vaccinated, it doesn’t affect you.”
This is why it does……
Woman had life-saving surgery pushed back because Tennessee's hospitals are overwhelmed with COVID-19 patients
Phillips said she was frustrated that her neighbors weren't getting vaccinated, leading to a new surge in hospitalizations as the highly transmissible Delta variant spreads — and that those people were getting priority for treatment.
"I'm still so very angry that people who put their feelings before others' well-being get to be first in the hospitals," she wrote.
My dad (64) got his yesterday and the only qualification he must’ve met was BMI and like you said, easy to meet. 6’4 , 210 doesn’t scream obese.View attachment 394722
For reference, I'm 6'1", 190#, and my BMI is 25.1. Meeting criteria is pretty darn easy.
