Nobody forced Djokovic to go to Australia and lie repeatedly about his situation. I actually don't think he recently had covid. He applied for the exemption based on recently having had covid on December 10th. That was BEFORE he got his qualifying case of covid (December 16th). Then the German magazine (Der Spiegel) pulls his test off a database and it's negative, only to a few hours later magically become positive. He was interacting maskless with people in Serbia while supposedly being positive. I think he knew all along somebody (whether the government of Serbia or some contact in the testing office) would give him a positive test result, regardless of what it actually showed. Hell, he probably didn't even get the nose swab for it. All this because he didn't want to do the right thing (getting jabbed). So yeah, I'm happy he's going through some things in Australia.

I think you get a code number in Europe to look up your test result online. His attorneys disclosed this number in their publicly-filed papers in Australia. Der Spiegel then used the number/code to look up the results. When they did so, the result they pulled said negative. They took a screenshot. A few hours later, the same number/code pulled a result that said positive. That stinks to high heavens. Pair this data with him (1) applying for a "recently had covid" exemption before he had a basis to do so, and (2) not wearing a mask/cancelling events while supposedly COVID positive leads me to believe he was probably lying about having had covid in mid December. Dude effed around and found out. I love it, love it, love it when the rich and entitled find out laws apply to them as well.

IMO Australia is and has handled the entire covid situation stupidly, just give the guy a test if he's negative let him play. Hell test him every day. But they're using this as a way to set an example and if they hold in person elections in May it will cost them dearly.

My service manager got the booster shot and within days all the sudden has heart issues. Went to have a catheter this morning and rushed to ER for immediate surgery

Australia is a sovereign country. They make their own laws. Djokovic wants to go there, he's subject to their laws. You can disagree with them and try to get them changed, but until then, you go there, you subject yourself to those laws.

Yeah I have dealt with it. IIRC it hit me about a month after a bad case of Bronchitis which turned into a bunch of stuff and later was almost pneumonia. There was a medical term but that was 15 years ago at least.

I dont remember the doctor saying mycondratis was such a long delayed risk. And at least for me it was treatable with just rest. Caused me to miss my whole season with the timing but I was cleared to resume all activity after a couple weeks off.

Fauci says a lot of things but he's clearly not a fan of natural immunity. Just ask Rand Paul:
