Vaccine or not?

Whatever the health risks of the vaccine are, they are certainly less than those of the virus.
I agree for at risk populations. I think it’s irresponsible to be pushing this on healthy kids who are at relatively no risk from Covid.

I can't agree with what's clearly not true. Compare the percentage of people sick or dead from the vaccine to the percentage sick or dead from the virus. The vaccine's much safer.
You still lack long term evidence to make that last statement. I care for both those who have had the shot and those who haven’t. We can point to evidence that the shot is causing issues with many systems in the body right now. We cannot however know what the shot will do in 5 years.

That's a fair point. What long term damage from the vaccine is theoretically possible and when is it likely to appear? What is the estimated probability? We're in the second year of mass vaccinations and so far so good.

Still speaking in high level aggregate terms. Which is really stupid for an individuals situation.

It's a comment about a pandemic, which is a general issue. Generalizations about general issues are wrong how? Awaiting your elucidation.
No it’s just more water carrying as we’ve seen time and time again pushing a ridiculous stance. The risk factors for a 14 year old healthy child isn’t the same as a 60 year old severely over weight type II diabetic.

It’s not just my elucidation there is page after page of in this very thread.

Not really awaiting your next dumb generalization statement

Thanks for clarifying. Of course the risk factors for a kid and a geezer are different but that does not change the fact that getting the vaccine is for the population as a whole safer than getting covid.
I don't have a political agenda; so there's no water carrying. I would like to see the pandemic end as soon as possible. Sticking our heads in the sand won't help accomplish that.

You sound like the continual “and get your booster when you are eligible” broken record and it’s beyond time to stop with the agenda. Everyone who was going to get it has gotten it. Time to accept that and move on.

Vaccination reduces the number of people who get the bug and the number of people that can spread it. How is that not in the people's best interest? So year unless there's a contra-indication people should get vaxxed and boosted.
It's public health. Do you consider that an agenda? Do you get tired of seeing 'employees must wash hands' sign in restaurant bathrooms?
