Boom, @Vjcvette has a buddy.I have evolved my thinking here. I want all the anti-vaxxers to skip the shots. Long term it means fewer right wingers. Darwin Award winners, all of them.

Both Norwegian and Carnival Cruise lines have dropped the vast majority of testing and vaccine requirements. I think it's cruises 16 days or more a test is required. Royal Caribbean likely isn't far behind with dropping the testing requirement since normally the big three are generally the same in the standards.
@SumSoonerChickGood to know. I'm ready to break out the speedo and go cruising again. When are you and SSC going????
He’s really good.*mic drop*
Looks like it’s still an EUA, they’re just expanding it to include children 5 and up.Apparently the FDA just removed the emergency use and are now fully authorizing it
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: FDA Authorizes Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech Bivalent COVID-19 Vaccines for Use as a Booster Dose in Younger Age Groups.
What changed to allow a full authorization? Has it been tested on more than a few mice?
Correct, and read carefully:Looks like it’s still an EUA, they’re just expanding it to include children 5 and up.
- The data supporting FDA’s authorization of a single booster dose of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent for both the 6 years through 11 years age group and 12 through 17 years age group is based on the FDA’s previous analysis of immune response and safety data from a clinical study in adults 18 years of age and older who received a booster dose of Moderna’s investigational bivalent COVID-19 vaccine that contained a component of the original strain of SARS-CoV-2 and a component of Omicron lineage BA.1.

Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration amended the emergency use authorizations (EUAs) of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent and the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent to authorize their use as a single booster dose in younger age groups.
Correct, and read carefully:
So: there have been no studies of immune response nor safety in children, and the ones in adults were conducted using a different investigational vaccine that included a different Omicron variant.
Yeah, it gets authorization and approval for different population/age groups and now there are different chemical vaccines, the original vaccine and the bivalent. And each manufacturer. It says this:
It's unclear what is emergency authorized and what is fully authorized
