This is actually quite frustrating. The bivalent was given EUA based on mice studies and given to adults over 50 starting in September. Then the expanded that EUA to over 18 in beginning of October. During that time, around 17mil Americans got the bivalent booster. And the “science” for expanding it to 5 and up is because…..??? Those 17 million people didn’t die from the shot??

At this point, I’d even be willing to concede safety of these vaccines/boosters (though I’m not convinced at all regarding actual long term, 10+ yr follow up) just to see some data that shows effectiveness over placebo or just doing nothing. But, the government, pharma, nor academia has had the balls to run or attempt to publish that sort of data.

Then, look at the approval statement:
“Since children have gone back to school in person and people are resuming pre-pandemic behaviors and activities, there is the potential for increased risk of exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19. Vaccination remains the most effective measure to prevent the severe consequences of COVID-19, including hospitalization and death,” said Peter Marks, M.D., Ph.D. “While it has largely been the case that COVID-19 tends to be less severe in children than adults, as the various waves of COVID-19 have occurred, more children have gotten sick with the disease and have been hospitalized. Children may also experience long-term effects, even following initially mild disease. We encourage parents to consider primary vaccination for children and follow-up with an updated booster dose when eligible.”

How many qualifiers do you read??
Define:
“Potential”
“Increased risk”
“Most effective” compared to what?
“Largely”
“Tends”
Define “less severe”
“More”
“May”

This isn’t science. It’s an appeal to authority and emotion.

So you're wishing death for those that made a choice not to take the vaccine?? Truly sad to have that much hatred against others that don't see it your way.
Also, you say that like you have any idea about the long term affects of the vaccine. I guess because its been studied for so many years and we all know the potential long term side effects. It's unfortunate, but it could be those that got the shot(s) that have health concerns in the future due to lack of study and trials. I pray not but I much rather prefer where I sit and take my chances without the jab than the other way. It's a personal choice I made for me and my family.
Too each their own!

You are wearing your feelings on your Vol nation sleeve. I wish no harm to those who chose to take the shot and those who didn’t.
I think I’ll fall in the % bracket where you won’t get your wish.
Taking the shots where appropriate is called for. I’m anti mRNA shot for myself. Others can make their own calls on whether this shot is appropriate for them given we now know more about the risks. We still have no medium and long term data. The short term data is not impressive enough for certain groups to even be considered for the shot therapy, in fact it could have lasting side effects down the road. It was appropriate for certain groups and they have benefited from it. Would love to see people admitting this shot was not the panacea big pharma and the gov touted it to be, it’s not.
