Over.....LARGE!
As our Spanish brethern say it.....Lar-Hey!
I would have to take the over. I think we end up 7-5. Barring any injuries at key positions. Worst case 5-7. Best case 8-4.

Utah St.
Ark St.
Chattanooga
@ Ole Miss
Ky
Mizzou
@ Vandy
Losses
@ OK
@ Ga
Fla
Ala
@ SC
Ole Miss really?? They have better players than us pretty much everywhere but LB and WR and their WR's are still good. Remember the Mizzou game last year, yea that's not guarantee either.
I know that we have had several rough years in a row and been down as a whole for almost a decade. I know that we lost all of our offensive and defensive line starters. I know that our schedule looks like something out of a horror movie. I know that our team is going to be largely young and unproven and we will play a lot of freshman...
However, I just can't believe that people would actually bet against The University of Tennessee winning more than 4 games. I really really hope we prove everyone wrong this year, I mean we are still Tennessee.
Last year was largely a legacy class. There was a built in advantage and if you listen to what the coaches say, they were helped by those kids recruiting others. That was a unique situation. There is no such advantage this year and there won't be moving forward. You never see guys sign top classes after multiple losing seasons. There is no reason to suspect that will be the case here either.
Going 5-7 and playing every game down to the wire, including Alabama and Oklahoma, will go a long way. Being able to tell a blue chip, "we were 1 playmaker away, and that playmaker is you," can help
Considering replacing, all the lineman on both sides of the ball, no 2nd team depth at all, an extremely hard schedule in the top conference there is and a road trip to what could be #1 Oklahoma in Sept, only 12 Srs on the roster... That's probably about right

Yeah all those kids submitted to peer pressure from other committed kids. Get real. Those kids could have gone anywhere they wanted at the end of the day. I swear I think you simply pray for failure just to have something to complain about....more like cry about.

It will be real damn funny when Butch signs another top 10 class.....doesn't matter what you believe or believe in.....it only matters that these recruits believe in Tennessee Football and being part of building something special.
That's not what he said. He made a rational point. You answered with an attempt to turn it into a personal argument.Yeah all those kids submitted to peer pressure from other committed kids. Get real. We will see if he can do it and the second part is true. But that second part will likely work against what you apparently want to believe if the promises of "being part of building something special" don't turn into more than 5 wins again in '14.It will be real damn funny when Butch signs another top 10 class.....doesn't matter what you believe or believe in.....it only matters that these recruits believe in Tennessee Football and being part of building something special.
