Venezuela's Triumphant Socialist Paradise

Why is Venezuela Russian business? Remember that whole realm of influence you spout to defend russia? Venezuela is in ours

Russia borders Ukraine...millions of ethnic Russians live in Ukraine...

While I will agree that Venezuela has little to do with Russia...the trend remains the same...smaller, defenseless and resource rich countries are picked for regime change. Some work, some don’t...but, most are asking for Russia’s help.

Why is Ukraine or Venezuela Russia's business?

Ukraine was destabilized on their border and had possession of Russia's only year round warm water port.

Venezuela and Syria were geopolitical moves by Russia. Plus, Russia, was invited by those countries.

None of those moves by Russia have anything to do with The United States or its sovereignty or security. If Russia wants to go empire building, let them have at it and we can watch as their fate ends up just like ours quite possibly. Spread thin and deeply in debt.

Watching the Profit... Marcus is touring Cuba, looking at the government controlled businesses and those lucky few that are permitted to have a small business. Not so good as we know. Boggles my mind to think some here want our government to take control of our lives... there is only one out come and it ain't pretty.

Change my mind.

I went to Cuba a couple of years ago. My thought was one of those about someone taking a fully functional whatever and turning it into a dung heap ... the "I really like what you've done with the place" type of incredulity. Cuba is precisely what happens when you hand the asylum over to the inmates. The thing is that they have plenty of competent people; you just don't see any of them doing anything productive. Cuba does like to farm out expertise (like doctors) to other third world countries as a source of profit. According to a Venezuelan expat I met recently, Venezuela is crawling with Cubans, so I suppose the need to tear down or inability to at least sustain is somehow endemic in a socialist/communist culture.

So, in essence, he’s publicly inciting and calling for a military coup. He should captured and treated as a traitor...
He's not a traitor, he is now a rebel.
I’d say both statements are true based on perspective. And I’d say the majority of nations side on rebel or revolutionary.

In the end whomever wins gets to write the history book. I’m pulling for Guiardo personally.
